I had a breakfast in there, which was nice. I didn't realise it was a pay what you want establishment.
The food was good, but what made it better, was the thought that I was helping to cut down food waste. Many people coming in to pick up supplies. A fantastic idea, well done to the organisers and volunteers 👏 .
Really enjoyed my visit. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Great concept with avoiding unnecessary waste. Loved the decor and the fact it felt spacious. Not cramned on top of each other. Friendly staff. Food snd coffee was good.
First time visit to enjoy an evening bistro night with a large group. Take your own drinks! Had a lovely potted prawn starter, jerk chicken and dessert of citrus mousse. Will return and recommend it! Great staff and volunteers.
The atmasphere is created by mainly volunteer staff.
The manageress Jenny is fantastic, her energy and enthusiasm bills the cafe, The fact that the cafe is dog friendly is also a great plus.
I go 3/4 times a week for breakfast and look forward to my visits

What a great place, breakfast was lovely and saving food from being wasted makes it even better! You can make a donation in cash, by card or with your time. What's not to love!!
We found this by accident on a wet weekday morning, and we were glad we did. Staff were friendly and helpful, the cakes were delicious and the coffee was better than I've had in any High Street chain. Even better, this is a community resource, using food the supermarkets can't sell to provide meals and snacks at affordable prices. There are testimonials on the walls about how this place has changed lives, but the best recommendation was the smile we got when we walked in.
Very relaxed atmosphere, yet busy, the food was excellent. Really nice to have a meat free menu as a special day (Tuesday). Staff and volunteers were excellent
Another restaurant night, Greek tonight, and another great menu, executed well, and all from fresh produce destined for landfill!! Highly recommended.
