Just been here for lunch, we normally go to shields one but recently discovered this hidden little gem! Food absolutely spot on and staff/customer service out of this world!! The scenery is amazing and the deserts aren't served in a little tin like bowl like shields one � our new fav place can't wait to bring the kids thanks guys the staff is amazing keep it up xxx
First time at this place. The staff are very friendly, the food was delicious and very fast and efficient service. Would definitely recommend and will return.

The Sunday carvery is fantastic, it’s not worth cooking at home when you can go out and get a very fresh and tasty Sunday dinner, at such excellent value for money...this place tops Toby carvery hands down!!! Friendly staff and will be back soon �

We all had a great night for our sons 18th birthday last night food was amazing especially the steaks the staff were fantastic definitely would recommend and will soon be returning
Fab meal tonight for 11 of us! Mega busy for a Monday evening and staff were great, even though they were really busy they still made it a really special birthday evening for my daughter...thank you �

We called in tonight after being to my sons graduation I have never been to such a nice establishment we were treated like royalty from walking through the door the dink food and staff are all first class we will return
Hubby and I came here this evening for the 1st time.felt really friendly and staff were attentive...food was amazing,hubby ordered steak and he said it was the best he ever had,looking forward to bringing the rest of my tribe here :)
I organised a Christmas party here with 32 friends and everyone had such a brilliant night! Staff were extremely accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and I felt really confident about our booking. A large restaurant setting with plenty of space for everyone whilst still remaining in a group. Really excellent food, great service and jolly atmosphere. All food and drink very reasonably priced too! We will all definitely return �
Food delicious... table of 10.. everyone’s served at the same time, not easy when quite a few steaks ordered. Slight problem with my meal, fresh meal cooked .. immediately without any quibbles .. waiter instantly told us that my mel wouldn’t be charged... grand finale was a huge complementary plate of selected puddings !! Along with many many apologies.
WOW !! Now THATS what I call customer service !

Just had a superb night for my daughters 13th birthday. She had 3 of her friends on one table and adults were on another. Staff here are amazingly friendly and good fun and made it a great night. Food was spot on and great value and a cracking party atmosphere. Definitely coming back again. ��

Absolutely fantastic.
My husband and best friend held me a surprise baby shower in the function room upstairs. The room was lovely, the food was amazing! We had an large buffet which was beautifully cooked, plenty of choice and even offered containers for us to pack up anything left that we wanted to take away. The staff were truly outstanding. Peter, I believe the gentle man was called, what a guy! He was the life and soul, he couldn't do enough for us. Thank you all 😘
Booked my daughters 18th birthday party here. I can't recommend this venue highly enough. From start to finish the staff were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was delicious and plentiful, they even provided pizza boxes filled with leftovers for us to take home. Fantastic evening all round. The only minor criticism is the room was a bit warm.
Thursday lunch with the girls was lovely. Got there just after opening and seated near the window. The room soon filled up. Service was brilliant and attentive. Food was amazing 3 course for £15, Inc minute steak, this was the size of a normal steak and was cooked to perfection. Definitely go again. Lots of choice on menu and special menus

Highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and polite. The interior was very warm and inviting. I had the sweet chilli fillet strips which was very delicious and extremely tasty . Everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back.

We were traveling and stopping over in County Durham and had difficulty finding a good restaurant open on a Monday night.
However we found Sambuca and were well pleased with the service provided and of the quality of the food received.
The waiting staff and manager were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been more helpful.
With out a doubt I will return if in the area.

Off the cuff we tried Sambuca Chester le Street for a roast dinner in the height of the lunchtime rush. The staff were amazing at fitting us in after only a few minutes wait.
Quite easily the best Sunday carvery we had in the local area...EVER...And then to find out it was only £9.00 a head, even better!! We paid £16 for a lunch last week in another local pub, it didn't even come close to today's food or service... Amazing!!
We were served a healthy portion of soft and succulent roast beef... And then asked if we wanted to choose some or all the other meats too! Home cooked Yorkshire puddings, & veg that was perfectly prepared with just enough bite... And cauliflower cheese to die for!
Thinking it was impossible to fit any more in,my husband found just enough room for the home made gelato, plumping for a mix of the biscoff & pistachio. Outstanding....and as good as anything we had when we visited Italy on holiday.
10 out of 10 ... We'd score higher if we could. Looking forward to next week's visit already!!
Amazing freshly prepared Italian meals from the main menu also available on a Sunday, the Chicken Kiev for example is outstanding...offered on or off the bone on request.
We had a family meal today celebrating my grandson's birthday. The food was lovely and the staff were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and family friendly, thanks to the lovely staff who looked after us.
Called in for a bite to eat on an afternoon plenty of choice 2 course £8 a 3 course £12 plus other choices I got potato skins as a starter then a jalapeño burger with chips and coleslaw very tasty will be returning
