Visited here before going to a concert at the cricket ground It was very busy on the evening when I visited... Got a table and ordered food and drinks on the app.. Drinks were brought to the table quite quickly and then a little wait for the food only to be expected considering how many people were
Probably the best Wetherspoons in the area. It’s got a very nice rooftop beer garden terrace, and was recently refurbished to a high standard. Staff are pleasant and efficient. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
I really love the sunny upstairs, outside area. It's a shame it's not accessible for people with disabilities but it has the benefit of keeping young children and crying babies out, so usually peaceful dining.
Cheap beer, cheap food and good service. Gets quite busy on certain days
Really nice Wetherspoons. Went before ging to see The Who at Furham County Cricket ground and returned there after the concert. One of the best Wetherspoons I've been in. Loved the rooftop beer garden. Great, fast service too - both at the bar and via the app.
Great little pub and with it being a wetherspoons the food and drink is really reasonable. Staff are great too
One of the good spoons going too, friendly staff and easily accessible aside from front entrance steps, always some sort of steps for the spoons. Ordered up the breakfast muffin without egg, as for the coffee.... machine is probably needing organising, would rate 5 stars, sadly its not a hard rock
Sunday morning visit for a full English breakfast. Fast service, and the quality of the food was what you'd expect, overall enjoyable hour.
Excellent Wetherspoons- quick service, good prices, good atmosphere.
We enjoyed a nice evening with family as we are from Berkshire & was visiting
As you would expect from Wetherspoons. No complaints. On the high street so park at Morrisons for free (2 hours) which is 5 mins walk away near to the train station.
1st time here. But food was cheap and tasty. Nice pub friendly staff and friendly atmosphere.
I went in with a colleague to get some lunch. The service was quick and friendly. We both had a main meal special plus a soft drink. There is a really big menu with plenty to choose from (almost too much), and it is good value. It was busy but it's a large place so we had no trouble finding a table
Had a great chicken jal freze, san miguel £3.43 a pint, ruddles bitter £1.71! What is not to like?
