As usual found everything brilliant. Food tasted good. Buffet style with quite a few dish options
Excellent value for money and child friendly restaurant. The food is very repetitive, and sometimes not hot, but overall great value.
I went in for breakfast and it was very good. Self service and everything is cooked. Like all merlin restaurants, the orange and apple juice is… just the best!!!!!!!!!!
Try the beef curry it's amazing and the kids loved their choices. The young chaps that booked us in ( reservations were on line) checked we were okay with the allergen menu.
The theming was great too but not to in your face. Think rainforest without the Ott thunderclaps.
The chefs were informative and the chap who was cleaning the area never stopped moving. Set up for social distancing and although busy we were not made to feel rushed.
You can go to the buffet as many times as you like and the chap doing the ice cream managed really well.
With 20 percent off with a merlin card I thought this was excellent value for a 'hotel meal'.
Keeping two picky eaters and one dietary need person happy is not that easy but we should sleep well and after mobile ordering the vodka it's almost guaranteed.
Great selection of food catering well for gluten free. Really surprised at the quality given the usual theme park fare. Great staff too! Can’t wait to come back.
Great array of food for all tastes and attentive staff
We had our pre paid evening meal here and it was good. Not a huge variety from the buffet evening meal. Some tasty some to avoid for lack of flavour. Ie the roast chicken and the mac'n'cheese. The warm bread is great especially the olive bread. Pre made salads are really good. Dessert bar was good fun for the kids. If the weather is OK then make sure you sit outside to watch the animals while you eat. Then go enjoy the 2 hours of exclusive access to the monkeys and other animals on the reserve.
This is the second time we've stayed at the Chessington resort. Both times were wonderful. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The Temple bar and restaurant is great. We have breakfast and dinner in there for the duration of our stay and have not been disappointed yet. It's buffet style for both breakfast and dinner. In the morning you're offered a full English selection, cereals, toasts, continental meat and cheese selections as well as croissants, pastries and muffins. In the evening you can get either roast dinner or curry to sausages, chicken nuggets, fish fingers for the little ones. Last time we were there the puddings were chocolate cake of cheesecake. There's an iceream station for the kids to make their own sundaes too.
Buffet style dinner and breakfast in the restaurant with a decent selection of choice and unlimited soft drinks. For dinner there is also a kids section. Themed along a temple style, with TVs acting as windows to the 'jungle' outside. It is a little dark inside as a result. Staff are friendly and helpful. The bar is a little basic and closed earlier than Zufari, which is a much nicer space
