The Bell At Chartridge - Chesham - Photo album

Traditional free house with fresh Anglo-Franco pub food. The young wait staff were eager and nice and the owner was an absolute hoot. The food was mostly good and hearty but with the vegetarian dish leaving a bit to be desired. The lamb burger was a bit dense, the chips were fantastic! Enjoyable exp
I have enjoyed visiting the Bell . A very welcoming atmosphere and a quintessential English pub. I've only had the real ales but the food looks excellent. Dog friendly. You will no doubt if you visit, meet Brian, a really nice man. Very nice local people. Nice outdoor facility, especially in good we
Very friendly country pub. We went for Sunday lunch which was cooked fresh and was delicious. Serving staff were very friendly and helpful. I will certainly return next time I'm in the area.
As pubs go, this one is great. Only been twice recently after a long time away (was a little put off by previous management years ago). Friendly, warm welcoming place and the food was good and priced about right (£10-12 for a Sunday roast) bearing in mind this is quite an expensive place to live.. W
A wonderful pub with a lovely landlady and staff. They serve absolutely excellent food in their restaurant area. Highly recommend it. Occasional live music too. Good selection of ales and generally a lovely place.
Best pub in the area and very 'Aspy-friendly'. Elvira is very personable and a nice smiley, welcoming person - especially good for people with an ASD - food (at lunch time) is fabulous - they are also dog-friendly. A definite must if you're in the area - or to add onto your walking route.
Lovely welcoming and cosy family owned pub with good food service and Sunday roasts. Open to adults, families and dogs too. Live music occasionally played with special evenings such as quizzes advertised outside the pub. Highly recommend
'Manifique!' The Sunday roast dinner that we were treated to made the countryside walk even more worthwhile,a lovely pub to be in while we waited for the rain and snow to pass. Compliments to the chef and bar staff!
Proper pub with great food and a friendly welcome. Under same management for decades and it shows through in the best possible ways.
Amazing local pub, all the workers are friendly and have excellent knowledge of the beers and wines on offer. The food is also exceptional value for money
Food and service good as basic English. Large range of sandwiches etc. The visit was with a small group of 8 for lunch by pre-arrangement which worked well 😀
The Bell's my favourite pub. Always delicious food, great chef, lovely landlady and super staff. It's proper country pub. Hope it never changes !
Great little pub with smashing staff. The food is excellent and reasonably priced, much of it is locally sourced
Welcoming and friendly Landlady, traditional pub. Phoned a couple of days in advance for the Aylesbury duck which all of us thought was superb.
Always love coming to The Bell! Lovely hosts, good beer & wine & delicious food!
The bell did us a wonderful meal as the place we were staying was not doing food,
