The Swan - Chesham - Photo album

I thought it was quiet for a Saturday but no matter. Our hostess was lovely. We reserved a table and we were seated in the snug. I had the steak and kidney pie: the crust was perfection and the filling tender with just the right amount of gravy. The rest of the party were very happy with their choic
Really nice Pub. Dog-friendly area and great service. Good range of food with some dishes a bit different to typical pub grub, as well as the usual favourites. Would definitely recommend
I have not been to the Swan for a very long time so thought it was an ideal opportunity to visit over the fathers day weekend. The meal was lovely the service very good but my only comment is we had to ask for the menu after waiting for a short time other than is it was great.
Good country pub. The beer is well kept (always a good start), and the food good. Normal pub menu, prices as you would expect in South Bucks, we enjoyed the meal, and will return next time we walk in the area. If you eat there, make sure you leave room for a dessert. So often pub puddings are a
Arrived without reservation was told by the manager that there was a table for 2 but might be some wait for food. Placed our order for food ready for a wait, low & behold 15 min later 2 hot delicious meals were served. Had 2 lovely desserts. The Timothy Taylor bitter was a lovely drop of beer as wel
Fantastic, quality, local pub with a real personal touch from the team that run it. Honest, funny and extremely accommodating they genuinely do try an offer you a personal experience. The different spaces throughout offer something for everyone, whether you want an intimate evening or a bigger, grou
Nice Sunday lunch. Children's portions are huge. No proper baby change facilities just a mat in the ladies toilet. Online booking didn't work so it was a good thing we checked with them prior to turning up.
Met up here for lunch with friends. Great afternoon. Very well looked after by Nigel and his lovely wife. Great beer. Great food. Looking forward to coming back.
Lunch on Saturday lovely old pub oak beams and floors in a beautiful setting opposite ley hill cricket club. Food was good and service excellent will be back.
A rare example of a pub-running couple moving successfully from other business areas to the world of inn-keeping. It's a tightly-run ship, staff clearly involved, and thus a paragon of pub food and pub drinks, plus a soupcon of live music.
Nice old country pub. Staff very friendly and attentive. The burger a bit overdone though..
Constantly excellence food, try the Pot au Feu or the steak and kidney pie, just delicious. Nice ambience and great service. I will return
Perfect pub. Will definitely be going there regularly 👌
Lovely family place for sunday lunch.Always made to feel welcome when I go while visiting my son and family.
Back open Thursday to Sunday only. Not doing food. Still very quiet lovely pub
The food was excellent. Staff very friendly but service not the quickest especially as it wasn't particularly busy
