Absolutely delicious meal and superb service would def recommend to anyone wanting the perfect steak in a lovely setting. Excellent value for money too. Def 5 out of 5 in my view. Thank you for a meal to remember 🤗
Had a meal here on 27th May. It was quite possibly one of if not the best meal I've had! Our server was fantastic (Agnes) all in all a great night! Will definitely be back
Took my husband here for his Birthday lunch, we have a lovely time. All staff friendly, our waitress Rachel in particular was very nice and took great care of us recommending sauces etc she had tried. Steaks were perfectly cooked , food overall was superb. Definitely would recommend and will be going back very soon.
Had a fab meal here this evening. There were 8 of us celebrating my mums 75th birthday. The food was superb, thank you to the chefs. The service was excellent, we had a lovely waitress who looked after us very well and made our visit a very memorable one. Mum even got a lovely icecream birthday cake. These make it it even more special. Thank you again, we will definitely be back x
My two children treated me there for Mother’s Day. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Gorgeous interior, lovely friendly staff and very efficient. Superb food filling enough to be able to indulge in 3 courses. Thankyou very much. I will be visiting again..x
A brilliant night , food cost a lot but you get what you pay for and the food is top notch very good service.
First time we went to miller and carter had a bit of a mare but went back tonight for them to redeem themselves and it was amazing

The food came with high quality, as did the wine selections. We were well received by the staff member Jess who showed commendable service. The male restaurant manager could have been a tad more helpful though. The only thing is that we requested for a table preferably somewhere near a quiet corner of the venue during the reservation but ended up being assigned one beneath the ceiling loud speaker with very bright spotlights directly to our eyes. Fortunately the background music sound level was nothing too loud.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we stepped in to be greeted by artwell the cozy yet elegant ambiance caught my attention. The tasteful decor set the perfect mood for a delightful evening.
What truly made the evening memorable was the impeccable service provided by the staff, especially our server, Michael . His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they guided us through the selection with genuine enthusiasm. Michael recommended the most delightful pairings of dishes and drinks, showcasing a deep understanding of flavors and preferences. His bubbly personality added a touch of warmth that made the dining experience even more enjoyable. They even managed to crack a smile from my usually grumpy teenager!
Now, onto the food. The highlight of the evening was the Butcher's Block. The assortment of meats and sides was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The meats were tender and perfectly cooked, and the variety of sides complemented them beautifully. It was so delicious that we found ourselves struggling to leave room for dessert!
Despite our food-filled bellies, we couldn't resist trying the desserts. I opted for the Banoffee Pie, and it was a decadent delight. The perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess made it a truly indulgent treat. My daughter, on the other hand, chose the Crème brûlée, and she declared it the best she's ever had. The delicate caramelized top gave way to a velvety custard underneath that was simply heavenly.
Overall, miller and carter provided us with a lovely evening filled with delectable food, outstanding service, and a warm ambiance. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience. Lovely Meal, Nice Atmosphere and food was cooked well. It’s a bit pricey but good on the odd occasion.
Really lovely steak restaurant, with excellent staff.
It is hard to believe that Miller & Carter are owned by the same company as Harvester! The steaks here are outstanding and it's got a lovely homely feel. The are many options for non-steak eaters so don't worry if steak isn't your thing.
The staff are exemplary here kind thoughtful and knowledgeable.
It's not cheap of course but it's not too expensive as a treat and still reasonable value as it is an excellent experience.
Food was excellent, our server was also excellent and the food is very good value. But even after booking the table a couple of weeks in advance, we were seated on a tiny table, (in a long row of tables, very close to each other) in the middle of the restaurant, where it was very noisy, busy and cold from the door. We asked if we could move but were told it wasn't possible. The carpets and walls are looking very shabby and sticky and in need of some tlc. It's a shame because the food was amazing!

Onion loaf was a bit cold which made it a bit greasy, but rest of meal, including starters and deserts, was really nice.
My wife mentioned it was her birthday the following day to our waitress Katy and her dessert arrived with 'Happy Birthday' written in chocolate sauce on the plate.
A really nice touch and much appreciated.
The toilets are accessed through a small bar area where the local 'youths' attempted to look intimidating but were more pitiful than scary.
The only criticism I have is that areas of the car park are poorly lit and there is no clear signpost to the entrance.
Hello, M&C set a very high bar for a steakhouse. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we had a great experience. Our waitress, Harper, was very welcoming & attentive. A great service with a smile! We had 4 Sirloin steaks cooked to perfection, the best we have had! My only criticism is the onion roll - I had them in your restaurant in the past, they were freshly made, hot and soft - the ones we had last night were hard & cold. Felt like they had been fried way before they were served. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our meal. THANK YOU!
This restaurant is close to home, and lovely. Great staff, lovely atmosphere, excellent food, good service. I recommend the bbq pork ribs (full rack), the surf and turf, rack of lamb, the sea food, great mains, and the sides, mmmmmm.
Great place. Our favourite M and C. Lovely staff. Best steaks 🥩 ever!!! Our food was out of this world. It was my Birthday and they made me and my family feel really special. Took an interest in our meal and why we were there. Loved it. ❤️

Food was really nice. Steaks were excellent (5/5) but starters and desserts maybe only 4/5.
Excellent service: Attentive, efficient and friendly, but the overall vibe of the restaurant was a little lacking.
As usual with a chain restaurant, only the one 'choice' of an IPA and no proper cask beer. Decent selection of red wines by the glass, so didn't suffer too much!
Had a pleasant date night with my wife, service was excellent and waiting time was alot better than the last time I came here. Really worth a visit if your in the area. Food is good but I would say portions could be slightly bigger for the price. But all in all we left happy
Our visit was great. Jess waited in us, she was kind,friendly, caring and knowledgeable she was a pleasure to talk to, the bar staff were also as friendly. My wife and I had a fabulous experience, we will definitely return again.
Just one thing that can be improved on, your steak knives are blunt and need sharpening.
Jess was looking after us and was very friendly and accommodating. She let us know that we could ask her for anything and was very smiley and asked us how we both were. The food was brilliant, one perfectly cooked steak and one succulent chicken burger. Very quick (although not too quick) service too.

Having been to a number of Miller & Carter restaurants, I am pleased to say this is the best I've been to. The staff were the most cheerful and helpful I've experienced in hospitality in a long time. The food was very good (the "Dirty Burger" rather than a steak this time) and arrived quickly. Fantastic experience.
Staff were helpful to assist with booking a large group and set up table decorations.
Everyone got their food warm and at the same time, food tasted great and a good selection to pick from.
Parking facilities were adequate, however you will need to remember to input your registration number when you arrive otherwise you may get a parking ticket.
Would eat here again and recommend adding the lobster tail to the steak.
