Regarded as one of my local pubs. The Twynersh is a large pub with food from The Hungry Horse brand so cheap and cheerful. Great for kids and families Peroni on tap and special nights for meal deals. Tonight was curry and a drink for £7 and also wine Wednesday a bottle for £8! Emily one of the bar staff was super helpful and attentive and she is an absolute asset to the establishment. She changed tables for me when i requested it and was great throughout our stay. One let down was the portion of chips. Last week we were served with a decent size portion. This week. Not great. The waitress was not helpful either. It seems to depend on what chef is working in here as to the standard/ portion size that you, as a paying customer gets. This needs attention. I was let down tonight. I will be back though as generally we have a fab time here. Thank you

Just visited Chessington and decided to come here for dinner with my family. We enjoyed tasty food and had great service from the staff. Quick, efficient and chatty. Would happily come back after a day out at the themeparks again for some tasty grub 😜.

We hadn’t been here for some years as the food hadn’t been great but decided to try again on Friday 21st April 2023. We were greeted by a lovely young lady (not sure if her name was Ellie or Emily) who made us feel very welcome. We chose our table and then looked at the menu. We ordered a starter and 2 mains along with drinks. Food was really nice. The onion ring stacker was very tasty, mains also. We went back on Saturday evening and tried their mix up menu and again we weren’t disappointed (photos below). Friendly service, good food, good prices and plenty of parking. Definitely a ‘try again’ place to eat as has improved massively.

Great friendly service, huge garden, nice interior. Large free parking. Food was OK, not amazing. Overall it was good. If food improved it would be great.

My family and I popped into Twynersh for a quick meal this evening, upon our return from a day trip to Chessington World of adventures. Throughout most of my life, I've met quite poor quality and service from Hungry Horse pubs and have generally tended to avoid them. After a recent good experience and a different location, I decided to take my chances and try this pub, especially as it was en route home. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised from the get go. Upon entering the establishment, we now how smart and modern the interior looked, being decorated in a tastefully fresh, yet classy touch. Once certain members of the family were happy with which table we were to dine at, we selected our choices for food and we placed our order at the bar for food and drinks. We had ordered a Nacho starter for us all to share. This was promptly brought out to us by our waitress, "Roma". She looked after us for the duration of our visit; she displayed impeccable manners, courteous throughout to all members of my family and displayed good initiative, knowing that I was tied down looking after the kids, she offered to retrieve any additional sauces for us. Top customer service from her; a credit to the company, she should be proud of herself! The Nachos looked like they were quite special, not necessarily home made but certainly different in a good way! Served alongside a trio of dips; Salsa (let itself down a bit, tasted a little like tomato ketchup!), sour cream (taste like every other sour cream) and Nacho cheese (really yummy! A little tingle from the chilli, I would strongly recommend it to anyone). We all enjoyed the nachos and its portion size made the perfect finger food stater for us all (2 adults and 2 young children). My wife and I had also ordered the "QUADZILLA" burger. It consists of a double bacon cheeseburger, topped with 2 fried buttermilk chicken breasts and nacho cheese sauce, in a Brioche bun. Served with fries and some onion rings (most of which I lost to the children!). I'm quite a big chap and I can assure you that this meal will well and truly quench any hunger issues! I was full to the from afterwards, alas I had cleaned my plate up and left no chip behind! Super yummy and I would strongly recommend it for all of those out there whom may possess a hearty appetite, like oneself. - Point to note troops : We visited on a Friday, when they offer the classic BOGOF (Buy One, Get One Free) deals on certain burgers from the menu. To feed a family of four came to under £20!!! Absolute bargain! It finished me but the children politely asked for a dessert. They selected their own from the menu; one was healthy (the fruit salad : Pear, Peach and Strawberry bits), the other not so much (Apple crumble with custard)! Again, the looked appetising and after sampling them both myself, I could tell that the quality of the desserts was not exactly great but it was still certainly tasty. The pear and peach chunks looked like they were straight out of a tin whilst the a strawberry tasted fresh. Reminding myself that this isn't exactly Michelin star dining, the decor was pleasant, the atmosphere calm despite being busy, service came not only with a smile but was top notch and the food was well worth the money we paid; I would totally recommend this pub to anybody who wanted a cheap and cheerful meal. Footnotes : Only draught available was lager - real ale was off. The children's outdoor play area is currently fenced off and inaccessible - I don't know why. There's ample parking around the back of the pub.

Having visited here on numerous occasions most often for lunch & drinks says it all - the variety of food, drinks all at super competitive prices, atmospheres and cleanliness are second to none in the area. The staff - Jess and her colleagues were very attentive yet unobtrusive, food delicious and the San Miguel mouthwatering !!! All what’s required when dining out ! Now the summers around the corner, will be bringing my family for evenings in the garden 100%. Enjoy !

We went there for the first time last weekend and besides the long wait time for food due to a busy afternoon, we had a good time. The food was nice, well priced and portions fair. Staff were coping best they could and were very friendly. We'll be back.

Took my grandson here on Saturday for a nice day out and we both loved It. We had a nice lunch, he had the kids tacos which he loved and ate every bit, I had the steak and ale pie with mash which I would highly recommend to anyone going as It was delicious! I was able to relax and have a nice glass of wine as there was a playground to keep my grandson entertained for some hours so that was very helpful! There was a bit of a wait on food which wasn't a problem for me as It was a very busy day In the pub and the staff members communicated with me so I knew before I even ordered my food. I do have to say the staff were brilliant all day, you can definitely see the staff members work very hard especially on a day that's extremely busy like how It was, I'm surprised they kept a smile on their faces the whole time and actually gave amazing service still. Thank you Twynersh! I will be coming back again very soon

After a day at Thorpe park we decided we want a good pub meal before heading home. When we asked if they were cooking they said we are but there could be a wait of up to 40mins, as they were short staff and had a bit of a back log. We placed our order and we didn't have to wait to long. Food was good and staff were friendly. Well done 👍

Come here for dinner, really nice! Manager & bar staff all lovely & friendly. Only negative that annoyed me was how dirty & lipstick stained our glasses were. When offered a fresh set they was still as bad. Definitely something you need to make sure are clean at all times & wine glasses polished especially. Something you can improve on. We will be back

Staff are friendly and accommodating. The choices of food are great, they even do a vegan cooked breakfast. Would be nice to see vegan patisseries as well, but oat milk and soya are freely available which is literally a life saver to us allergy sufferers. I love that things like porridge and poached eggs are available on request. You can't beat a premier Inn breakfast. Recommend every time.

Absolutely wonderful service and food. I travelled 75 miles for work and decided to come here for dinner. Felt welcome in a new town and struck up a friendly conversation from what a presume to be the manager, not to mention also was very similar to someone I knew from home so felt even more comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone who visits, and I believe that I will be a Monday evening regular here for the foreseeable future. See you next week!
