Met up with some friends here yesterday for lunch. it was thoroughly enjoyable very pleasant surounding staff were very helpful & friendly. Food was good all freshly cooked & was bought to the table altogether. We sat in bar area for quite a while after eating talking & drinking. No pressure on us by staff. Will go back definitely recommend it here

Traditional looking pub near the Thames, so good views from the garden. It’s well worth a try, as the food and drink range is extensive and adventurous.

Was a lovely dinner, staff friendly and allowed to take our dog which was a bonus, sat outside under cover and was a really lovely time! Desserts pricey but delicious!! Plan to book again for Xmas Eve as the veggie roast was delicious! ❤️

My lamb dish was delicious and visually very appealing. Brisket pie was ok. The portions are very generous. Presentation is wonderful. The service was polite and professional but didn't seem happy. I would go again. Want to try the pasta dish I spied at other tables. We sat outside which we enjoyed. If only the main road wasn't right there. But that's not the pub's fault. Interior was appealing. You can book a table online which I liked. There's free parking but I would think it'll be a problem once the the restaurant is fairly full. Not sure where one would park then.

Lovely love gastropub. First went here over a decade ago and it wasn’t as nice as now although it wasn’t quite rough and ready then. Now though, it’s looking quite nice and the food was amazing!! Hake was delicious just under £19. Lamb shank just under £27. We had a starter or squid and mushroom and 2 pots of tea. With 10% tip it came to just over £76. Is that reasonable? Yes for its delicious food. Except the lamb shank. Quite dry and over cooked- like lunch leftover. Service was super professional. Parking is free. View of river Thames is a bonus. Give it a go!

My partner and I had dinner here one evening after a busy day at Thorpe Park and I cannot recommend it enough. Great choice of drinks on the bar and friendly staff. Amazing food and amazing desserts!! All in a great location on the river. Would definitely visit again!

A great pub and restaurant. Had Sunday lunch. Generous portions. Night before we shared a meze, delish. Well there wasn't any left. Highly recommend.

The Sunday lunch was epic, I would have no problems recommend to all but the car park needs sorting out. If lines were visible in between spaces then some of the inconsiderate parking could be avoided. On the whole, a fantastic experience and we will be back

The Kingfisher is a charming country pub/restaurant beside an 18th-century bridge in Chertsey, Surrey. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with a mix of traditional and modern décor. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent. The menu features a wide variety of pub food classics, as well as more creative dishes.

Went for an evening meal with my family. We all loved the food. Great location by the side of The Thames by Chertsey Bridge. The staff were also friendly and polite. The restaurant was fully booked so we eat in the bar area, which was more then fine. Will be going back. Went back for Sunday roast. You need to book. Plenty of good food.

A group of us from work went there on 29th march. Very good service. I think everyone was pleased with their meal. I had steak and it wasn't hot enough but given we were a big party I didn't ask for another. Chips were very hot.

Visited the Kingfisher yesterday afternoon for lunch with a friend and I have to say, our waiter Liam gave us amazing customer service. He was welcoming, polite, attentive to our needs and ensured we left happy. The fact that he had a sense of humour was a bonus. He was a good communicator, to the point he sold the place to us to where we plan to return. My friend was recommended the scampi dish as a starter, which he had never tasted before and he loved it. Our main meals were amazing. We just felt for a rack of lamb, there should have been a bit more on the plate. For our dessert we had the apple and blueberry crumble with custard, which was delicious. A big thank you to Liam and the rest of the staff, including the chefs, for making our visit a memorable one.
