Popped in just before closing on New Year's day, but they were happy to serve us. It was a reduced menu due to the bank holiday, so we went for homemade soup and cakes with hot chocolate. Just what we needed after a long walk.
The place was quite busy when we arrived, and they have a small inside and outside seating area. According to the notice on the wall, they are looking to build a much larger cafe in an American theme.
This is my new favourite place, the food is amazing. Great place to take dogs (outside seating). Also very good prices.
Good panini and bap. Nice ladies serving. Great for a light bite and cake (the hummingbird cake was delicious!) 😊
We absolutely love the Dandy Highwayman! We visit weekly and Mark and his team are fab! Always super welcoming to us and our little daughter. Food and coffee is always amazing, lots of choice and great for takeaways if going for a walk! Also, the outside area in warmer weather is lovely ☀️ Thanks again, and we will of course be back soon :)
Pleasently surprised. We only had coffee and cake. The food menu looked very good. Hoping to go back and try something. A great place to stop off if you're planning to walk to the white horse
Called in for a coffee-to-go in midweek, prior to a walk up the hill. Great parking, very friendly and welcoming ladies. Superb latte. Cakes look very inviting and I'm really tempted by the freshly made baguettes, so will definitely return. A real surprise gem. Highly recommended. Thank you! 🙂
Excellent food and drink options which were very welcome in the middle of a long journey. The BLT was the best I've ever had and the coffee very good. I would highly recommend this cafe, don't be fooled by the modest exterior it's a great pitstop if you're in need of a snack
An excellent roadside stop for cakes, coffee and snacks with a very friendly atmosphere.
Quite unique, it is extremely dog friendly and also features a lot of paintings.
There is an okay unisex toilet in the carpark.
A lovely cup of coffee and the cake was to die for! This is a lovely café, friendly staff and a really nice place to visit.
Lovly little cafe , looks are deceiving , all the lardy cake had gone so bit upset we missed out

Lovely staff take the orders and bring to your table. Imagine it's very busy on a sunny day as lots of parking and outdoor seating.
Toilets are outside, clean, functional and we'll maintained. Thursday night is Pizza night. After today's delights, I'm sure we will test the pizzas next time.
Enjoyed a 4 mile walk taking in the sights of Cherhill, and before we started we noticed that this cafe had opened, so on finishing the walk I treated myself and my partner to lunch here. Lovely staff, amazing cakes and such good value for money. We both enjoyed a sandwich, and two cakes!! Plus 3 drinks for less than £20. A lovely cafe that I'm sure we'll come back too if ever travelling this road on excursions. The decor is light and airy and the seating is super comfortable too.

Lovely staff and reasonably priced. The food looked really good too. But we'd not cycled enough to deserve it haha

Lovely little café on the A4, just before Calne, in Churhill. It's great for walkers and people who just need to stop. Lovely tea and coffee and a good selection of cakes, as well as panini's, wraps, and sandwiches.
