After 20 years of not going into Chepstow I came back to a town that had totally changed I went in to one of my local hornts. the lion. I was stuck without a taxi and the land lord went out of his way to make sure I got home safely second to none customer service!!!! And also a great Spanish beer on
The pub does sell food but entertainment was fabulous on Wednesdays and on the weekends
Had a few drinks and a catch up with a friend over the festive period. Polite and friendly staff, a nice choice for a local.
Lush staff a had a few great nights here new to area and loved this pub for banging nights
great beer and not bad food. pool and music. separate restaurant great afternoon . if you're lucky our robin will still be sitting pretty singing a Dutch sea shanty.
Good service and nice food. Coffees, cakes, light meals and the usual range of booze. Not cordon bleu, but quite pleasant. Outdoor seating available.

Awesome welcome! Tina is a bloody star! Did the work of 4 people on raceday, amazing! Cooked, served drinks, ran around like a lunatic. Funny kind of pub-coffee shop. Pub on one side, tea/coffee shop on other. Maybe also rooms upstairs. I had a late mornng cider plus bacon butty - I know it's a bad thing, but I like it. You could probably spend your life in here - breakfast & lunch in coffee shop, dinner & drink in pub, sleep u
We had a warm welcome. A place that is a nice for a drink during day time hours... And a great place for music and dance in the evening.

Started going here recently as we used to go to the bottom of town. Very friendly and lovely staff. Can see this becoming a regular place to go
