The Boat Inn - Chepstow - Photo album

A lovely pub with great staff. The service is fantastic and the outside space is very large, so lots of room for larger groups. The food during the day is a bit limited but very well prepared and presented. There is a large specials board for the evening but I have yet to try any of these. So overa
Lovely place to have a drink on a summer day with live music playing when I went. Busy but lively place. Didn't stay so gave the rooms a 4 as didn't want to 0 it as I'm sure they are fine :)
I haven't been to The Boat for years! Lovely, friendly staff, fab food with gluten free options. Yummy desserts! 😋 Options to sit inside, up or down or outside. Toilets aren't accessible with several steps up and down to them, which is a shame (but it is a very old building!).
Can't comment on the rooms as haven't stayed but The Boat has become our new 'local' when visiting family in Chepstow. It is in a fab location right on the river with lots of outdoor space- perfect on a sunny afternoon. Can really recommend their Sunday Roasts (worth booking in advance as they're po
We visited The Boat Inn for lunch on a Friday. Busy little place... but the food and service were exceptional. Haven't had such great service for a long time, and the staff are incredibly hard working. Well done team!
Excellent service, good food and seating area outside good view of the river. Very nice inside as well.
Really tasty food (Meal was huge) and great service. The ladies (very friendly and helpful) kept checking when we would like to order and made sure we always had drinks on the table. Views are really good outside, and I can easily see in the summer this place being packed. only negative is that par
Good selection of beer. Good selection of nice, freshly cooked food. The biggest roast dinner I've ever had in a pub!
Spent a lovely couple of hours sitting outside in the sunshine 🌞 with a pint or two of local ale, and had some spicey chicken skewers - delicious. They had plenty of staff on hand so there was very little waiting, and a good queue system for the bar.
Lovely setting down by the river, the pub was very busy and the food took a while but it was worth waiting for. Good sized portions and all bread is door stops!
Had Sunday Lunch here to celebrate our completion of the Wales Coast Path. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the roast dinner was excellent.
Excellent food and location on the river side. Dog friendly, excellent atmosphere and great service. Can do a nice stroll along the riverside afterwards which is ideal. Recommended the slow cooked lamb, delicious!
We came here for lunch. It's by the river but I said to my wife that as we were going inside we wouldn't see it. Wrong! We were led upstairs and had a great view of the river. I liked the way it had been decorated but best of all was the food. It was not only tasty but came in generous portions. Ser
Perfect location for Summer nights.. There on Friday night with the wife and it was Great... Now I'm working local to chepstow myself and the Aqua-nomads are in the Boat Inn during the week.. Great food and Great Service..
Fab food and great location. Did a previous review, had a old lady moment and pressed 1 star by mistake. Please ignore. The Boat Inn is 6☆☆☆☆☆.
Great staff (I think her name was Annie) . Nice food & lovely outdoor area.
A beautiful pub with truly wonderful, attentive staff. The team were so lovely throughout our visit and the food was amazing! Highly recommend for those wanting to experience good pub food including a great Sunday roast!
