I stayed here the first night of my Wye Valley walk. The owner and staff were very friendly. I was happy with my room. The food was good. I’m glad I got to stay here. It is very convenient to the Wye Valley trail. There is plenty of shopping nearby.

What an amazing pub this is, it’s a must visit if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Chepstow or just a delicious meal served by lovely staff who go out of their way to make you feel more than welcome. I’ve visited many of times and have always thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks C&H see you again soon.

A quiet place to relax. Can’t hear any traffic, very snug, cozy and extremely clean. A friendly service and there is nothing they won’t do to accommodate you if you run out of sugar or milk or so. Was a lovely visit

1st visit, passing through. Sunday lunch. Excellent value and good variety of veg, roasties, y pud etc. Roast pork and roast beef tasty. Nice cider. Very friendly and helpful young woman with a trainee. Clean toilets with free feminine hygiene products, impressive! The pub itself needs a bit of a tidy up and new decor bit wld still recommend for a, warm welcome and good food.

Great place, very clean, breakfast is superb. A few minutes walk from the castle , riverside and high street. The village itself is amazing and so peaceful. The owner and staff have been magnificent to us. I highly recommend it.

Had a fab one night stay here, wish it was longer, we will definitely be back. The place is laid back and very friendly and especially dog friendly. Our 2 spaniels loved their stay as well, maybe it was the treats they were given. During our stay we had lunch, dinner and breakfast, all the food was really nice. A great selection of ciders and gins and a lovely pint of Marstons pedigree. Our room had a nice warm shower ,really comfy bed and Netflix on the TV.

New owners, perhaps? Seems really popular with walkers at the mouth of the Wye River. We stayed over out of season, but I can imagine this place being amazing during the summer. The staff seemed like good fun and we’re super friendly and welcoming. I’d have given the place a 3 - but it was out of season and Chepstow has an amazing vibe.

This is a lovely little local pub. The staff are very friendly and the food is great - I tried the Coach burger for the first time recently and thought it was brilliant - it was a very large meal, huge burger patty and a burger bun that felt like it might've come from a local bakery, that had melted cheese on top. Great value for money and good quality. I'd really recommend eating there.

This was a very good location for the start of the 1000-mile walk around Wales. The location to Chepstow Castle was minutes few and plenty of parking, which was for the Wolfpack Pilgrimage, Operation Comaraderie, The rooms were comfortable and clean. But make sure you check in early to collect your key in good time. The Coach and Horses proprietor was ex D&D so understood cause. So if in Chepstow book early nice Central location.

Hello. We went to eat here because of great reviews. Overall, a good experience. However, the food was reasonable but not excellent. This was a shame.
