We popped in this evening for a meal with my parents. We had a very warm and friendly greeting and were promptly seated. The service was outstanding, especially from Rohan! He made us laugh and was just generally a fantastic server. The food was fantastic, perfect portion sizes and really tasty. My partner and I have just moved to Chepstow and we will definitely be back.
Popped in for a quick bite to eat. Had a steak meal cooked to perfection. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Had a 2 course lunch here. Lunchtime menu single course £7.95, two courses £9.95
Calamari was cooked well, decent size starter portion. We both had the sea bass pan fried with salad and chunky chips. Only point to be picky on was that the chips were a bit too chunky.
Staff are very freindly and welcoming.
Four of us has a wonderful meal last night for our first visit of The Pepper Mill. Staff were responsive, friendly, personable, and helpful. Food was beyond my expectations: fall-off-the-bone, meaty ribs covered with delicious and generous BBQ sauce. Good sized portion. Came with some nice fries and was happy with my side of onion rings; not greasy and satisfying. Others I was with had the pizza which was homemade and quickly devoured. Topped it off with a Lotus Biscoff cheesecake that is a must-have! One of my first meals in Chepstow and I expect I will be coming back with friends and family in the future! Felt safe with the COVID precautions and were not too close to any other table. Looking forward to my next visit already!
The food and service here is amazing, we were seated immediately after arriving and promptly served for drinks. Staff incredibly cheerful and polite, nothing is too much
Outstanding food absolutely superb fantastic service
Called in here after a weekend away and we were really impressed with out meals. The side of salad and chips were delicious and our chicken was cooked perfectly. There was a good choice of gluten free dishes on the menu and the service was lovely.. We'll definitely be back. Thankyou 🌈
A very welcome place. We came as a big group (16) and this was no challenge for them. The staff soon whipped round requesting drinks orders and then the pre-ordered starters came flying out. Once done the next course was en route, with the speedy service this was not to turn table but to ensure we all had food at (around) the same time and could eat together, this was very well organised by a young man who commanding presents was that of a season restaurateur, very impressive (but with no name tag I don't know your name).
Very very well priced meals and some reasonably decent drinks to boot.

Lovely food with great service from Marcus. Table of 6, all served perfect meals at the same time. Puddings were expertly explained and presented before ordering. They were all delicious. Best cheesecake I've ever had.
We've just had a lovely meal here, staff were friendly and skilled, did was delicious and there was a busy buzz around the place. We thought bringing the actual desserts out to show you instead of just looking at a menu was a clever, but brilliant touch as you knew exactly what you were getting. We shared our dessert, but they gave us a scoop of ice cream each with our own wafer and fruit! We will definitely go back
Had dinner here after exploring Chepstow castle. Staff were friendly and attentive, providing good service. Food was good and the price for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) was reasonable.
Had a lovely meal here. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was a good standard, really enjoyed the fillet steak on gnocchi. Would definitely recommend a visit for an evening meal.
We visited the Peppermill last Friday. The experience for us was 1st Class. Both my Wife and I had the same starter of prawns and aaame main, rare Fillet Steak. Without hesitation this was the best meal that we have enjoyed for many years. Amazing food, fantastic service, highly recommended.

Fantastic food, the pasta dishes we had were delicious and arrived very quickly.
Arrived late when it looked quiet, was told they would struggle to fit us in but luckily they did. They were right it did get very busy later. Thanks for fitting us in, really enjoyed the steak too. Thank you.
Popped in on way home from work in our scruffy work clothes apologising profusely. We had a warm welcome into a lovely atmosphere, amazing food and fantastic service. Would highly recommend.
