We had our wedding here! First ever wedding at The Nook and we can’t recommend them highly enough!
Sam and Dan ensured everything went smoothly and the food- wow. *chef’s kiss* Alisha’s attention to detail and flavours was beautiful. Our guests were raving (and still do) about how delicious the food was. Of course, the view itself was stunning which made the perfect backdrop as the sun was setting in the evening.
I couldn’t have asked for more and the whole event turned out even better than I imagined. We want to thank the whole staffing team- Sam, Dan, Alisha, Rodrigo and everyone who made the evening a success.
We had a truly memorable evening. Thank you!
An elegant 5th floor restaurant with bar, terrace and cocktails. Sophisticated dinning, happy Efficient service and well presented tasty food gained by a lift on the ground floor bar off the park. The lower bar suffers a little from everyone wants upstairs and service there is polite but brisk, demanding paying for drinks before you get them, something l hate.
Upstairs a different mood, the food l tried was very good, portions so so, considering cost...but very good on quality. The WiFi needs improving a bit weak. But the new boy on the block is wort a visit
Visited the Nook for a surprise Birthday Dinner and couldn’t really fault it. The food was lovely, service was very attentive, atmosphere was great with live pianist playing. I’ve visited for drinks in the past but never had dinner and I’m glad I did, it made for a great evening.
I had a dinner here on Thursday night and I really loved the whole experience. The location was beautiful, the atmosphere fantastic. We had great food freshly made, and lovely cocktails prepared by Dan. Marian looked after our table and he made the whole experience even better with his attentive approach.
This was our first time dining at the nook and the location the design and the hospitality was all 5 star .The views were stunning. The Cheltenham observation wheel was an added bonus. The steak was the best steak I have had. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavouring was incredible. Will definitely be going again. All staff were very friendly and welcoming.
This is not just a fine dining restaurant but an experience in itself. The location is easily accessible, and the views across Cheltenham are incredible. The decor has been well thought out, the background music is non intrusive, and this all helps to create a perfect ambience. From the moment we arrived the staff were very attentive and welcoming. As for the food, fantastic! We had the terrine and scallops to start, halibut and venison for main and couldn't resist the chocolate delice for dessert! All this accompanied by a lovely wine. I can highly recommend the Nook on Five for drinks, food, service and a fine dining experience.
We went here on a Saturday night and really enjoyed ourselves. My partner had the halibut which she said was fantastic and beautifully cooked. I have the beef shin and treacle tart (less of a tart more beef bourginon with mash on top) which was nice. I would recommend the fries with truffle and Parmesan - they are unreal. If you are looking for somewhere with good value food, this is not the place, there are undoubtedly costs for the views and sophistication of the place. If you want to go somewhere with a fantastic atmosphere (great live pianist), swanky decor, excellent and friendly staff and great cocktails then I’d highly recommend. Great for a special occasion as feels a bit special
Had a lovely meal here, no complaints. the food was very nice. Service was a little slow, but I would go back
We went for lunch. It was a very nice setting and the food was great. It wasn't particular busy and there seemed to be plenty of staff, however the time from placing our drinks order (nothing fancy) to receiving them was, shall we say, a very long time. The staff serving us had to check some simple questions (like, what's the cake?). And only one member of staff was bringing our our food and had to do a number of shuttle runs to the kitchen - so again way too long between first dish out and last dish out for our mains.
Overall an lovely experience, but given everything else about the set-up the service has room to improve!
What a fantastic venue! We picked the perfect afternoon for a rooftop Sunday lunch in the sun. The food was tasty, full of flavour and the meat plentiful. Presentation was equally fantastic on both courses. The service was attentive and the staff very pleasant and welcoming. Such a chilled, relaxed vibe, we will be back - thank you!
Well, we were the only people today in the whole restaurant (Sunday 11am) eating breakfast, so although there was no atmosphere as such, it was really lovely. Beautiful setting on 5th floor with panoramic views, and lovely furniture, decor and table wear.
Food and coffee was nice. Service was very friendly. Would be a great place for dinner and drinks. A terrace too for warmer days.
Can not recommend these guys enough, lovely friendly staff, stunning décor, awesome views and of course the food utterly superb, will definitely be returning.
Was such a lovely location - amazing for a special occasion. Made particularly incredible by our server, didn’t get her name but she was a lovely young lady with red hair! Really accommodating and made our evening perfect. Would definitely recommend- I hope she gets the recognition !!
