Food and cocktails were incredible. Our order was very delayed, which was acknowledged by the manager and a discount was offered without us complaining. We were very cold in the restaurant - asked to move away from the door, but still sat in our coats. The manager noticed and apologised, seeing other patrons were also cold. All in all, a delicious meal and cocktail evening spent in a fab setting... Just need to dress warmer and make sure order is served on time. I will definitely return.

Great coffee, smooth. Food was good (awesome veggies) but the meat was a touch overdone. Music good but a tad loud for my personal taste. Gorgeous bathrooms and general decor. Back to the server, he absolutely made our visit! ☺️

Fabulous place - had a delicious lunch. Great menu selection, starters were superb. Only minor criticism is that a lot of the choices were spicy, need a few more options for those of us who can’t handle a kick 😊 Waiting staff were professional and friendly, absolutely did the restaurant credit. Will definitely return.

I had a Baileys coffee which was lovely... I did want an espresso martini but couldn't find one on the menu.
We were initially not sat where we requested (when we did the reservation online) but this was quickly resolved by a member of staff.
Cocktails were wonderful as was the food!

Booked a table to celebrate my wife's birthday, not realising race weekend. We arrived to a warm welcome but really busy restaurant. All of the staff were friendly & regularly apologised for delays in serving food & drinks, including 30mins to get a glass of prosecco & coke. Food was really good, great selection on taster board, but just disappointed at service time. Will try again on another occasion.
Party of 6. Late afternoon booking. Not terribly busy. The young girl that served us initially was lovely however it was a long time between ordering our drinks, then ordering our meals. We had to ask for a jug of water 3 times before it came. Starters were lush, main courses - 2 curries had to be returned as they weren’t hot and the chips with the kebabs were warm not hot. We did have a lovely afternoon however we chose not to pay the service charge and the guy who took our payment was a bit put out and made that known in his demeanour.
I’ve been to the Botanist in Bath and the service was exceptional.
I booked the Botanist for my birthday dinner with the girls and it didn't disappoint! The venue is gorgeous, the menu was brilliant with lots of options for those who don't eat meat. Atmosphere was perfect loved the live singing and the service was spot on will definitely book again!
We celebrated my birthday here in Botanist bar and Restaurant. The restaurant's design is fantastic, in my opinion. The area is appealing and spacious, and there are even plant pots inside. I highly recommend the Calamari and the hanging Korean chicken among the lovely food we ordered. Ania, our server, is also friendly and incredibly accommodating. She made sure to come and check our table every 10 to 15 minutes to see if we need anything. We'll surely return to this restaurant. It was an amazing birthday dinner for me 😊
What a great place for drinks and entertainment - popped in randomly, and they had a great acoustic set going with a female singer from the Rhondda who was excellent. Good selection of drinks (the garden mojito was delicious) and a superb atmosphere with great service from friendly staff. Nice outside area in the brewery quarter, ideal for people watching ha ha
Great experience but nearly had heart attack when the bill came to £40 for two drinks. Obviously the bill was wrong. When pointing it out the bar tender sorted it. Great atmosphere. Clean surroundings. Staff attentive and asked if my son enjoyed the cocktail after he had sipped it. Highly recommended
Food was delicious. Cookie dough pudding was the best. Will definitely be going back.
A good friend and I enjoyed a WONDERFUL Sunday lunch at The Botanist. My friend is in a big powered wheelchair and the staff were very helpful making sure there was plenty of room for us. We needed a gluten free option for my friend but the starters she choose didn't come gluten free so she was offered another choice that wasn't on the menu which she really enjoyed. The toilets were spotlessly clean and they had a big disabled facility. Definitely recommend the road lamb which was tender and tasty.
The team at The Botanist in Cheltenham are incredible! Allergies were taken into consideration every step of the way and nothing was too much trouble. Our food was delicious, super fast service and we never felt rushed during after-drinks. Gorgeous backdrop for a lunch date - I can't stop recommending this place!
