A nice place to wander round, I highly recommend the audio guide as it gives you lots of extra valuable information. There's the usual national trust shop snd cafe, scones were good. Needs a couple of hours to take it all in I'd say. Parking close by is limited, but there is an overflow car park a s

If you have any interest in history this is one you should visit. Everything is well labeled and the illustrated booklet has a guide in it. The mosaics are beautiful, the Manor must have been magnificent in its hay day. Access can be difficult on the narrow road. Save yourself time
Good Roman remains can be few and far between in the UK, but it's always nice when a site is active, interactive, conserved and accessible. The guides are informative and kind, and clearly very knowledgeable and qualified, while the site is fantastic. the gardens are what you'd expect, but the mosai
A super historical site to visit. Beautifully kept and preserved with a good visitors centre, and interesting displays alongside the covered mosaic floors. Well worth visiting.
We didn't plan on coming here, we just followed a sign thinking we might see a pile of stones... how wrong we were. Huge house, museum, lots to look at, games for the kids set out on the front garden, craft making, cafe, and free interactive head sets. We loved it and was very pleased we'd visited.
Fantastic National Trust historical Roman Villa with genuine local artefacts, including stunning mosaic floors. Very informative and friendly staff, willing to answer even the most inane questions from my very inquisitive son with a typical ASD mind set!
We spent 2.5 hours enjoying the exhibitions,
Expertly done visitor experience. Far more extensive ruins and well preserved mosaics than I expected. 2 sections to onsite car park (which is one way in and out). Overspill car park nearby if busy. Well worth a visit
Charm of Chedworth is - it is remote from the mainstream tourist trail. Large roman mosaic, bigger than most in the UK. Interesting AD history running beyond Roman 'occupation'. Well-informed, friendly guides. Actvities for children. Good coffee and cake.
Well laid out with information boards and audio tours. Lovely mosaics which have been intricately constructed, some with very fine, small tessera.
The location is delightful.
There is a well stocked gift shop, a small museum of finds and a cafe.
The best Roman Villa in Britain and superbly curated and supported by the National Trust staff.
Parking is at a premium and the approach road is single track most of the time.
Very good amenities including a good cafe and shop.
We learnt a lot about the Romans at the time of the villa and it's spa.
