I have loved this place since I moved here 4 years ago. It is like being in your front room with your best friends.

Friendly service with relaxed atmosphere, we stopped for coffee and toasted teacake and pleasantly surprised to be asked for a donation rather than be presented with a bill.

Small family run independant Christian bookshop with a small cafe at one end ... a real blessing to the area as many Christian bookshops have disappeared.
There is a children's room, full of lovely gifts for the young amongst us, and another book area where Bibles and all sort of books are sold, amongst many diverse gifts, including CDs, wooden crosses, bracelets, jewellery, posters, t-towels, postcards and the list goes on.
Across the road is Maranatha, owned by Shalom, in which are many hundreds of donated second-hand books which are free to take for a donation of any size that goes towards mission work.
In like style, the cafe's food and drink is not charged as normal, it it all by personal donation so one can give according to one's desire, heart or ability to give anything at all.
Unafraid to conduct prayers for customers on the premises, and often midday comes with a short interlude to recite the Lord's Prayer, this is a very friendly, down-to-earth fully committed Christian business who welcomes all.
