First time ever having afternoon tea. Great little place with great tea and food. Would greatly recommend! Staff were very accommodating with my wife's dietary needs. 6☆☆☆☆☆☆.
Lovely tea rooms, beautifully decorated third time visiting, cake selection a bit lacking compared to previous times. Was also only able to book a 12.30 sitting yet the place was empty even when we left around 2pm so would have preferred a bit later.
Took my mum for her birthday.
Booking is recommended.
Our table was ready for arrival and the food was great and well presented. Lovely touch of a birthday cake, too. Staff friendly and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return. Thank you once upon a tea room.
Superb afternoon tea this afternoon with two of my closest friends. The sandwiches and cakes were all very light and freshly made. The scones were still warm when they were brought out. All tables were in use, but the staff were attentive, polite and busy but in left us to enough the experience.
Held my daughter's baby shower here with the biscuit decorating activity. The table and area was nicely decorated and the afternoon tea was lovely with delicious cakes and sandwiches. Vegetarians and Vegans were well catered for too and we all very much enjoyed it!
We had the most amazing takeaway afternoon tea! We took it to eat in the nearby park (we’re not local) and the lady that served us told us how to get there and another spot to go if it was busy. Absolutely delicious. 10/10 would come back again.
Amazing place we had a baby shower there.they decorated it beautifully, we had afternoon tea,sandwiches, scones and cake of different varieties.

I ordered one of your Birthday and Anniversary teas for my Daughter Lisa and son in law Richard for the 14.6.2020 It was her Birthday and their Wedding Anniversary They where so surprised at the order that they received plus i ordered a cake stand also They said the meal was so good plenty
Attended an iced biscuit workshop here and had a wonderful time. The staff were really lovely and the afternoon tea they served was utterly fab! Loved the fairy tale decor too!!
Really lovely team room just on the edge of the town centre. Presentation is key in places like this but taste is something that other tearooms overlook, Once Upon a Tearoom however delivers. The food tastes amazing and the staff are very attentive and welcoming.
