Great for trying different beers and ciders in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff know what's on and are super friendly. Enjoying the Northern Monk brews at the moment, definitely worth a visit!
Nice "real" pub selling real ales, lagers and ciders in Cheltenham on the outskirts of the town centre. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Inside and outside seating and toilets available. Dogs welcome (at least outside as observed). Well worth a visit.

I went to The Strand in the evening with friends so we did not eat here. I have given 5 stars for the selection of beers on offer and the atmosphere. We stayed for a couple of hours and between us we tried many beers. All were good and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We ate here twice during our stay. Not many restaurants serve food on Monday and Tuesday nights in Cheltenham. Both experiences were excellent. First was for lunch. Visited yesterday with friends and really enjoyed it. Great range of ales and friendly bar staff. Recommended! I would most certainly visit The Strand again next time I am in Cheltenham.

I hesitate before reviewing The Strand. I really want to keep this place to myself! Recently refurbished to a very high standard, it's a cracking place. Good real ale and cider, lovely staff, good food, pleasant atmosphere and a great beer garden.

Great real ales and craft beers with also lots of good wines and gin selection. Fab live music at weekends. Food is good and lovely staff. We love the little outside court area right next to the park and nice place to stop if dog walking for quick pint.
Cool little pub in Cheltenham. Happened to go on burger night. I got the Bacon Cheddar burger and was not disappointed. Friend got the (US) southern fried chicken sandwich. She seemed to enjoy it. Very nice beer selection on hand.

Hired the private room upstairs for a three course dinner for 26 for a murder mystery hen party. Lovely venue, tasty food and fast service especially for a group booking.

Love the strand, huge selection of drinks something for everyone. Food is ok but have only tried the trio of meats dish come here more for the drinks. Will try other dishes and update
