Maison Chaplais is everything a great deli should be! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, there are always really interesting things on the shelves that I've never seen anywhere else, and the food that is always the tops! That such a little shop is able to make so much of their own stuff is amazing- the breads alone are worth coming to the shop for. I can't recommend it enough.

Had a Groupon scones and hot drink offer and American pancakes, both were freshly cooked and really delicious - what a lovely hidden gem and really friendly, helpful staff!!

Such a beautiful place on the outskirts of Cheltenham. About a 15 minute walk from centre of town... we arrived early and was still greeted by a lovely polish lady who was very accomadating and kind. The Scones were being baked as we arrived and was able to have a Large Latte instead of a Tea!! We were given 2 scones per person and plenty of clotted cream and Jam!! Brilliant service and worth. Visit!! Keep up the good work and looking forward to buying another voucher but for the cheese board as that looked amazing. 👍 brilliant little business

The freshest and tastiest bread in Cheltenham. My loaf today at 10:30 was still warm! The service is excellent.

Lovely freshly baked scones with fresh clotted.crean and jam. We visited on a Groupon deal, which we'd pre-booked and confirmed via the Groupon website. However, when we turned up at the allotted time, we were told we should of phoned before as they weren't expecting us, and we'd need to call back in 20minutes once they'd cooked a feesh batch of scones. A good selection of coffee and teas. It would of been 5 stars, if not for the initial welcome,

I was parked outside and my car tire was flat. Errin was amazing in helping to get my tire off. Thank you very much. Also, my brother very much enjoyed his sausage roll.

We are regulars and LOVE everything we have tried. Being an American in Cheltenham this place has sandwich’s that remind me of my former home. My hands down favorite is the fried egg and bacon sandwich. The baguettes are top notch. My kids love the gelato! Amazing!

Quaint little deli stocking some quirky items. Nice selection of food and drink which can be eaten in. Lots of seating upstairs.

Called in for a breakfast bap and a cup of tea all served in good time, not the cheapest place in town and the decor is a little dated but the food was hot and tasty.

Excellent home-made food and attentive service. Superb sandwich, made with sublime Sourdough bread; not massive, but very good. Lovely tea and coffee. Not super cheap, but reasonably priced for Cheltenham. Personable, polite and friendly staff. I hope to be back here again soon.

This is one of those rare treats of a place. It's unassuming yet a lovely armosphere to be in. Everyone is really friendly and the 'eat-in' food is great. An eclectic range of groceries that can be bought (some things you simply can't get anywhere else!) Some of the cakes are on display uncovered, and perhaps they should be, but to be honest it's never been a problem until now. The coffee is also very good and you can take your dog in (very handy at the start or end of a dog walk!)

Love the lunch time baguettes. Rare beef with onion chutney (and horseradish) is a winner. And the Smoked Salmon and egg mayonnaise holds a shock second place

Good coffee, nice cakes and friendly staff. The seating for the cafe is upstairs and usually quiet and so quite handy for larger groups. Downstairs is a interesting looking deli with a side line on take away food. Staff are attentive and helpful.

Lovely coffee, cakes, and people. Reminds me a bit of an Italian trattoria with the odds and ends nibbles in the downstairs bit. Limited seating but was perfect to warm up with an oat milk latte.
