We only popped in for quick pint whilst my brother was down for the snooker, so I can't comment on the food.
However, the pub was buzzing and full of life. There was plenty of space in the beer garden.

Visited this place on a Saturday lunchtime, quite busy but there was space for us. Bar staff were friendly and lunch menu was quite varied with both meat and non meat dishes, small to larger choices. Reasonable price and service wait time was acceptable.
Meals were lovely and overall definitely worth a visit.
We popped in to watch rugby so I can't comment on the food.
I was delighted that the second time I bought a drink the lady behind the bar found me a thin wine glass to drink my merlot from. It makes all the difference in my opinion, particularly to a very average wine. I'd love more choice of quality wines by the glass.
The 3 gents who accompanied me were very disappointed with the 2 choices of real ales as both lacked flavour. The Royal, which we thought was the sister pub, has more choice and tastier real ales. The Guinness was a good substitute though.
The atmosphere very lively and typical of a Friday night which we enjoyed. The facilities were good.
Really nice pub. Beautiful interior, lovely outdoor space as well.
For an appetizer, we got the large antipasto platte (not pictured), and it was so delicious and very generous with the portions!
For our mains, my husband got the 8oz rump steak, and I tried the marinated Thai beef salad.
The steak was very well seasoned and delicious, a great meal. The Thai beef salad was very good, however there was an excessive amount of the dressing/sauce. By the time I was halfway through the meal, I had to stop because the rest of the salad was completely drenched, and the dressing was very sweet. Maybe serve on the side for the future :)
But otherwise the service was excellent, very kind and friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. The waitress even lit our candle for us at the beginning of the meal, which was a nice touch.
A good pub with a large garden which were serving fresh pizzas 🍕 looked great but I didn't get to try one due to my food intolerances.
Service was a little slow but it was a very hot day and there was only limited bar staff on.
They got the job done and we're really friendly.

Visited for Exfest as usual. Great afternoon of music in a friendly atmosphere. Have also had the pizzas from the outdoor oven . Very good

Great evening. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. It was great to see them pull together as a team to tackle the wind & rain from this evening. To see them work together and get it organised so quickly, was impressive. You're a credit to Cheltenham, well done. Thanks for having us.
The benefits of it is that there is nice garden with tables where you can enjoy your time with friends.
Prices are accessible and loyal but tge choice of drinks is poor. I recommend to have more soft free alcohol drinks in store.
Cleanliness is good but could be better.

I unfortunately was distracted by my friends who I haven't seen since moving to the UK, and didn't take any pics.
Great ambience. Lovely lawned seating area, with a wall high enough for privacy.
Definitely a go-back-to kind of watering hole.
I came in on Saturday and the food, drink and service were great. However I observed a situation where a staff member, who had not long finished their shift, faced abuse from another colleague. As the bar grew busier, it was evident that only one staff member was tending to the customers. This staff member approached their colleague and seemed to be asking for assistance. The staff member then returned with the colleague who was presumably on shift. To my surprise, the situation took an unexpected turn when the second staff member became confrontational to the first staff member. As a customer, I found this incident disheartening, as it created a tense atmosphere and raised concerns about the professionalism among staff members.
A very busy pub, but the service was still quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food. It was lunch so I had just a steak sandwich, but I can honestly say it was the best one I've ever had. All in all a nice, dog friendly pub. 👍

Nice pub first time being here. Craft lager is great. Customer service could do with being a bit more customer service like but altogether a very nice experience.
Loved this pub/restaurant. The Nachos starter is amazing, biggest nachos I've ever had. Delicious pizzas cooked outside. Lovely big beer garden too.
Popped in for a quick drink on Monday night before walking the ten minutes or so into town. The Exmouth Arms is a nice pub on Bath Road in Cheltenham, very popular. There's plenty of seating and even on a quiet Monday night there was still a good atmosphere.
