My favourite coffee shop/cafe in Cheltenham. You always get a warm welcome, the hot chocolate is to die for, and they have best rocky road I’ve tasted. I also highly recommend the veggie breakfast.

What a fab little cafe/kitchen with such a friendly vibe. Yummy coffees, cakes and lunches and the odd evening “occasion” such as Valentines Day evening meal. They absolutely outdid themselves on Valentines Day - the food was sublime. If you haven’t been I would highly recommend dropping by - you won’t be disappointed.

Following the imminent closing of one of my favourite cafes in Cheltenham Andersons, I popped around the corner to my local, Vitlers. Richard the former owner had done a wonderful job with this cafe with a good menu and fantastic quality produce, cooked and prepared to exemplary standards in my view. it's now under new management / ownership by lovely people from Stroud Steph and Miles. The menu, produce quality and standards haven't dropped at all and it's wonderful to be greeted by smiling faces who recognise you even after only one other trip under their short tenure. Folks get down to Vitlers to sample some of their wonderful grub! And remember #supportlocal #cheltenhamfood #vitlers #fairview They are also doing a Steak Night on Friday 14th July ... got to be worth a look right...?

Vitlers should come with a health warning ..........or should I say a waistline warning!!!! They have amazing Sausage Rolls (to die for), very sinful cakes (I can never just buy only one) and really good coffee. I have never been disappointed with anything I have eaten from here. Highly recommended.

All I did was give notice that I would like a vegetarian roast & today the meal was delicious! Not warm enough, but that was quickly remedied & a piping warm meal was served !! Very yummy

Popped in for lunch and had the butternut squash pappardelle which was awesome. Would usually come in for a coffee but the beer was much appreciated. Steph was cheerful as always. Finished with a millionaire shortbread, which is hand made by Steph along with the other delicious cakes. Can’t recommend enough. :-)

It’s a nice place for breakfast, with both sweet and salty options, we tried the egg royale and the traditional breakfast and the only things I can say is that salt was missing and that the bread was already spread with butter, which made everything a bit too sweet, but on the overall it was ok.

Best breakfast/food and coffee in Cheltenham. Their coffee is far superior in quality to other coffee shops, and they actually know how to make it properly! I know as I have tried them all! Food is always great, and love their amazing breakfast too. Plus super friendly staff in Steph and Miles.

If you’re looking for a nice decaf, a friendly face and gorgeous cakes then this place is for you. It’s a lovely cosy little independently run coffee shop. If you’re a decaf drinker then you’ll understand that it’s hard to find a nice one that doesn’t taste of chemicals or just really bland. The coffee here is lovely, just as nice as Costa! They’re also dog friendly and have a little bowl of free dog treats always available .

We absolutely love Number 85. It is our regular stop on Saturday mornings for breakfast and delicious coffee. Welcomed with a friendly smile and laughs, Steph and Miles make the most delicious cakes and food. We have also ordered birthday cakes for our daughter which have never disappointed. We are asked for a theme/colour and flavours and these are brought together beautifully. 85 has become a wonderful place to meet friends and is a real gem for the residents of Fairview

Number 85 is a hidden gem! While it may be off the beaten track a little, it’s definitely worth the venture. Run by Steph and Miles, the coffee is the best Cheltenham has to offer and the food is always top quality. They work hard to make what they do ‘a bit special’ and the menu is always evolving. From their everyday menu to the specialty dinner evenings they run, you are in for a culinary treat. Fancy some cake? There is always a beautifully presented selection of freshly made cakes, which are super tasty! Special occasion? Seriously check out their instagram to see the beautifully crafted event cakes Steph makes, they belong on the front cover of a magazine and if you can bring yourself cut into one, they taste as good as they look.

Absolutely fabulous brunch, we had a variety of the Rosti dishes which made a change from a traditional English breakfast. I had the smoked salmon which was delicious. The lady taking orders and serving was welcoming, friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be going back 😃

The food here is excellent, really fantastic sandwiches and the specials are always great. Don't even get me started on the cakes! They're amazing. What I love about this place, apart from the great atmosphere and friendly welcome is that each item on the menu has been thought about and made that little bit better than 'standard'. I can't recommend it enough. I'm very lucky to have it on my doorstep (well at the end of the road...).

Really, really lovely food, all prepared to order in-house by the (trained chef) owners. The service is always genuinely warm and efficient, and they are so kind to everyone. A local gem.

Friendly local cafe. It's only a couple of minutes cycle from my house, so perfect for a quiet afternoon tea break with a good book. The breakfasts are really good here, too. The only thing that would make it even better would be if the council installed some proper cycle parking nearby, but hey, I'm being greedy 😋
