The Old Courthouse - Cheltenham - Photo album

Had a really nice meal here with my family. We have been a few times now. I love the venue and ambiance, it’s really old school. Especially like the old prison cells in the basement which are now toilets. A sight to behold. A very unique building and atmosphere.
The food is excellent in both presentation and taste. However, the service has much room for improvement. Our order took a long time to arrive, and the dessert was just completely forgotten.
We held a wedding celebration party (we eloped a few months prior) at the Old Courthouse and it was fantastic. The team were so accommodating, and the buffet food for our guests went down an absolute treat! It was absolutely delicious - special mention to the Brie bites! We had a live musician in o
Had a birthday meal here, can’t fault anything as I thought it was perfect! Staff were kind and attentive, I even got a glass of complementary Prosecco as it was my birthday lunch. Food was SO GOOD and ambience great, will definitely be back.
Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Food was delicious and quite large portioning.
Visiting from USA 🇺🇸 We came here to have an afternoon cocktail! We upstairs to check put the old court room, what a historical place! Very intriguing!!
Just been here for Sunday lunch which was a good value helping and tasty. It's the incredible building and friendly staff that make the place, though - make sure you have a look upstairs at the bar that's still got the courtroom layout and go to the loos in the old jail area! What an amazing buildin
3 of us for lunch on a busy Saturday. Food was excellent - service pretty good and friendly and a great atmosphere. It gets busy so be prepared to waited a little whilst gf excellent food is prepared
Visiting Cheltenham for the day we booked for lunch having identified the venue as dog friendly. We weren't disappointed - there is an unhurried, but not slow, ambience and the food is excellent, if not cheap. It was good to find a pub without screens and the music wasn't loud. We hope to return. Th
This is a quirky restaurant / bar in a slightly put of the way area of town. On the upper floor, they have a recreation of a court that used to be onsite; and the cells down below have been turned into the toilet facilities, and a wine store. The main area is composed of comfortable chairs with wo
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Cocktails quite pricey considering they're pre-mixed in a bottle, but other than that a lovely place for dinner and drinks
Beautiful venue. Amazing features (fab use of the features..toilets in original cells!) Great service from Jenny who was a delight and attentive. Sadly lacking atmosphere but would love to return in a busier night.
We were given a private dining room for our group, which was ideal. The food and service was very good with an extensive drinks menu
We had a booking for 40+ people for a 40th birthday celebration. We found all of the staff were helpful and friendly, in particular Kieran who was great from when he first took the lead. The Courtroom was the perfect setting and the food was excellent and well priced. Also, the service on the night
Table for 8 in a private room on a Saturday night. Above average food. I had the steak sandwich which came with fries. A small tub of coleslaw or salad with it would have been lovely but it was just a sandwich and chips. Very polite staff but perhaps a tad slow on taking orders and delivering drinks
