The menu has lots of selections and combinations to choose from with reasonable pricing... Started with the crab bisque and it was perfect with airy croutons on the side...the bisque had a little kick that complimented the creamy base...then the mushroom spinach crepes arrived and they were heavenly... when you are in the area, I would definitely recommend this Brasserie!
On vacation with my wife, we came to this restaurant on a whim, we were really impressed with our server, she was knowledgeable about the menu, the wine, the local area and pretty much anything that we asked. The food was exceptional and we really enjoyed the veal escalope and the pork loin. The prices were very reasonable, and I wish we had more time in Cheltenham as we would certainly be back. ( my job is a corporate executive chef feeding 2500 people daily, and this is the best meal I have eaten on my vacation)
Great welcome from the staff.
Air-conditioned restaurant! Most welcome as it's been HOT!
Delicious meal. Food was varied and authentically French.
So many enticing things to choose from.
Will be back next year!
Thank you.
Love the friendly and attentive staff there. I’m happy with my fish stew but the steak didn’t meet my husband’s expectation. Will visit again to try different items on the menu.
We went here for a birthday lunch. Manager Simon and all the staff could not have been kinder or more helpful as they looked after us, including an elderly person with mobility issues. On a baking hot day, we were placed next to an AC unit, given a welcoming drink, served superb food, and meticulously cared for. Very well done, Cote Cheltenham - thank you!
The two of us were walk ins. The welcome was good, but we may have been somewhat unlucky with the service at the table compared to comments I've seen from other customers, because I wouldn't have called the service attentive especially considering it was quiet. However, it was polite and friendly when we were served. Food was good and I particularly liked how mine was prepared.
We often go here for breakfast/brunch on Sunday.
Love the choices.
The staff are great.
Love the fact you get a pot of tea not mug/cup.
Occasionally my food could have been a bit hotter..but that doesn't stop us going back.
Pretty affordable and most of the food is great. My partner had the quiche which wasn't great, but the pork belly was fantastic as always. Cider was 330ml and they charge the same as a normal pint which is a bit of a rip off.
The food here is always marvellous and the setting and management are spot on. Great service 😎
Was recommended here. Place has a cosy atmosphere and the staff where attentive with quick service.
There where three if us & we all are from the Pre fixed menu, which had a good selection & seemed good.value.
Starters where Wild mushroom soup, Pear & Goat xheese salad and pork terrine, all well presented & tasty.
Main courses where Seabass, Steak frites & an upgraded (£3) 8oz Ribeye steak with extra Pepper corn sauce, the steaks & fish where cooked well, however my mother found the bean that came with her fish a little under cooked.
One on the items for desert was sold out since all had Pavlova which was fun.
Over all a good experience & value for money, so would recomemd.
Wonderful place to eat. Had veg and vegan breakfast. Tasted nice. Warm welcome. It was well docrated place. Nice staff and fast service. Price was £10 for each breakfast. Could have added hashbrown and beans in vegetarian breakfast. Would recommend to go. Very clean place to eat
We had such a lovely dinner with excellent service. We are group of 7 but everything came on time, no long waiting for drinks nor food. Children enjoyed their food so were the adults. The old fashion cocktail is to die for. So so yum. Thanks
Had a good time at Cote and our server Tomos took great care of us. Food was good (fillet), but I made a couple of mistakes which I regret. I didn't realise everything was an extra charge, as I believed two sides were included. Even the olives that we were offered to go with our champage cost extra. My biggest mistake was not realizing that a service charge was hidden amongst the taxes at the bottom of the bill. And this was after I gave our server a very large cash tip. Most places advise verbally of a service charge, giving you the right to remove it if your service sucked. Lesson learned
Had an excellent lunch today. The salad niçoise was superb. My wife had sea bass, which she said was really good. Service was great. Thoroughly recommend it.
