First time ever visiting a Zambrero restaurant!
The lady serving was incredibly friendly and helpful, talking us through all of the options for a burrito. We ordered and dined in, and the restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was extremely tasty and fresh, and by far the best burrito we have had in a very long time.
We were also very interested to read about the ‘Plate4Plate’ scheme they have going where they donate meals to people without food when they sell a burrito or bowl! It made us feel good about dining there.
100% would recommend.
We ordered nachos which were decent but could have been better; the cheese wasn't great, it was sparse and not melted properly and the place is a little overpriced for what you get. However, it was empty and cool in there and so I enjoyed my meal with friends.
Opening day review!
Came for lunch, tried the beef and chicken burrito bowls.
Ingredients are nice and fresh, good sized portion, enjoyed the salsa.
Guacamole is £1 extra, it was hard to tell that it wasn’t just avocado, could do with a bit more flavour.
Overall it was a decent lunch, felt nice and healthy and will be back for sure!
Love this place! They have many healthy options for my keto diet!
this is genuinely one of my favourite places to eat EVER!! the staff are always so friendly and the food is amazing, i would pick to come here for lunch over anywhere in the area! really recommend :)
Amazing burrito spot - made to order with great vegan options and fresh quality produce! 10/10 recommend
Have been here three times now and it’s becoming my go-to place for lunch or dinner! I used to go to Taco Bell for my Mexican food cravings, but since coming here, I appreciate the freshness and flavours more.
Whilst it’s a bit pricey, with my Winter Warmer and can of Coke coming to just over £10, I know that I’ll be leaving there absolutely stuffed!
I love the many customisable options every step of the way and it’s very easy to order to your liking.
My only critique is that the Squid loyalty system is a bit poor and you have to spend a lot of money to get something substantial after 10 stamps. 5 stamps gets you free guacamole, and considering that’s 60p extra (I think), it’s a bit skimpy! I’d like to see a better loyalty system.
Other than that, I’ll continue to come here and I hope Zambrero is here to stay!

Choices are delicious and you cna eat in or takeaway. Plenty of size options too and we saw a deliveroo order go out, so ill have to do that in future! 🤤

One big gripe - the salad bits are close together so we could see onion had violated the sweet corn!! Lol My teen hates onions!! So we had to avoid the sweet corn! Boooo
Had an amazing lunch here today (13/6/23). Had the bowl, burrito and nachos and each dish was freshly prepared, team always smiling and friendly. Will be back
