Authentico - Chelmsford - Photo album

A lovely little restaurant in the heart of Chelmsford. Not the most extensive menu but every dish is done well. I had the gorgonzola pasta and really enjoyed it. So much so I tried to recreate at home the next week. The pasta was followed by tiramisu which was very light and a perfect end to the me
Our second visit last night. Went along wanting to order something else to what I had last time but couldn't help myself. Had to order the ravioli again. Never eaten food thay makes me feel emotional but oh my this ravioli is just incredible. Polignanos across the road is a regular haunt of us (own
Great customer service, nice wines. Chairs and tables a bit cheap and nasty and food somewhat bland but overall nice meal
Delicious homemade Italian food. Pasta is all made in house and you can certainly tell. Lovely cosy atmosphere with good service. Tiramisu was delicious. Good sized portions- you don’t leave hungry. Would recommend to friends and will be back.
Absolute perfection! Three amazing courses were delivered by staff who really seemed to really care about our dining experience. Whist not the cheapest in Chelmsford, it is certainly worth paying a small premium for a fabulous dining experience!
Really authentic and the food is amazing! 100% recommend if your after proper Italian food! And the pistachio soufflé is the best I've had!
We went to Authentico for the first time tonight. A lovely Italian addition to Chelmsford. It is a really nice place that will be perfect for romantic dinner, but also with the family. The octopus with cream potato is highly recommended. The last time I ate this type of fish perfectly cooked and sea
The clue is in the name - a really lovely authentic Italian experience run by a friendly Italian family. Food was exceptional and atmosphere felt like we had been transported to Italy. My only slight complaint is that it was very hot being seated near the open kitchen.
The owner is from Puglia, his food is the real Italian! We found this little place ad-hoc yesterday for lunch and were totally surprised. This is authentic Italian cuisine, our lunch was made by hand by an Italian. The delicious pizzas took me back to my old life in Italy and I will definitely be
Amazing food. A friend had told me that this was - as the name suggests - authentic Italian food of the highest quality, and I was somewhat skeptical. But after eating there I can confirm that this really is Italian cuisine of the highest order. Also really nice, friendly, helpful staff - shout out
Our second meal here, and again, really really excellent. Italian food made by Italians - simple and delicious, bursting with flavour. We had bruschetta to start, and pappardelle with the boar ragu, and the linguini with prawns and brandy. Great red wine by the glass and excellent coffee to finish.
What an absolute gem of a place. The food was truly incredible, totally authentic, genuinely the tastiest Italian we have had not in Italy! Will definitely be back and recommend to others, thank you !.
Always a great meal , the staff help to make it a good experience too , I had the most amazing fillet steak and roasted vegetables, my wife had the grilled tuna ....we always leave there full and chatting about how good it was !!
Amazing food and wine with fantastic service topped with a lovely rustic ambience. The flavours and aroma will blow you away, a must try! We'll be back:-)
Really excellent. The food quality is just superb. All 3 courses. Excellent service, very reasonable prices, great ambiance. Top wine list. Will be back. Please try it.
Antonio did us proud with a fabulous Bresaola and Burrata antipasti. I had plain (ample) filet with asparagus tempura and a side of minted courgettes and fried potatoes. Classic Tiramisu and a proper espresso macchiato The service was on point and not hurried. Can’t wait to return. Gracie Mille Ma
