Service 10/10 It was my first time and the waiter helped us decide what was best. He explained to us very patiently. Then we ordered a sandwich that my partner didn't like and was immediately changed for another one. They are friendly and the service was fast. I really enjoyed the food and the milkshake. I will be back delighted!!

Went in after a haircut with no clue what the menu was like. The barista that served us was incredibly helpful and recommended the double pepperoni and cheese toastie. We also got a strawberries & cream frappe and a cookie each. The toastie and drink were absolutely delicious, and very filling!! Music was a little loud but not to the point it was a problem. Bonus points for the free cheese toastie (I assume there was a mixup with another order so this was spare), it gave us a chance to try the granary bread which is excellent.

Visited for the first time today. Friendly and welcoming staff, quirky quotes on the ceiling so take a look up! Reasonably priced hot drinks and decent coffee. Facilities of a toilet and important for us a baby change! Would be a great spot for a life style photo shoot 😉📸

Loved the food. Great value for money. Well presented and delicious. Really disappointed in myself that I hadn't tried this place sooner. 😁

The Cappacino, Americano, Latte and the Sun Pat Peanut Butter Milkshake are all nice. My wife said it was 'one of the best coffees I've had out, in ages'. I rate the milkshake highly too. If you like crunchy bits, you'll have to find a GBK who do it perfectly otherwise, this was a top notch smooth one. I had read reviews saying the Bacon and Three Cheese Toastie was a favourite. It was nice but the Three Cheese, Mushroom and Truffle Toastie was amazing. Sourdough will cost extra but I would go for it again. A chilled and relaxed vibe on a Thursday lunch time. A nice touch was provision of complimentary sanitary products in the unisex toilet. Well figured out and a nice difference from the chains.

Great place if you love the Toast or a Toasty (Clues in the name) Whats not in the name is the coffee and is excellent. Great value and takes Bluelightcard which always helps.

A review doesn't do the place justice. All the staff are so friendly, even through painfully long shifts, the coffee is superb and the toasties are *chefs kiss* *Update even during rushes and the busy weekends they always find time to make the visit memorable. I spend more time here than I do at work sometimes

Only been open a few days (Chelmsford branch) and I'm much impressed. Lovely, friendly service. Great relaxing environment inside as well as outside dining. The coffee is some of the smoothest I have ever tasted and the toastie (bacon on granary bread) was freshly prepared and very tasty. A great addition for the centre of Chelmsford, with something just a little different..... TOAST !

Brilliant independent Coffee Shop in Chelmsford Town Centre, I would go as far to say the best. The staff are super friendly and always look happy to be there. The prices are really reasonable for the size and quality of both the coffee and food. Coffee has a nice strong flavour, highly recommend the flat white and iced lattes.

Lovely place, was going for an espresso and ended up choosing a watermelon iced tea, and I regret nothing! It was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The team is super friendly and they also took my order to the table, so that I didn't have to be standing and with the seating area outside, was able to drink what I ordered and enjoy the sun 😊 definitely a space to visit, either for dine in or take away!

We had 2 toasties (1 vegan & GF), 1 sourdough all day breakfast and drinks. Staff are friendly and efficient, toasties were amazing. Highly recommend, my favourite cafe in Chelmsford.

Had a gluten-free sticky farmhouse toastie with a cappuccino. Very delicious. The only criticism I have is the cups can be under filled and this the second time I had to ask for more coffee.

Toast of the town! Trendy place for a tasty toastie. Great choice of fillings on the menu and you can add extras and customise! Also serves a good coffee and can’t wait to try a milkshake!

Really nice to be greeted by friendly staff. Also good to see dedication to recycling, although it woukd be nice to bave the option if a proper cup or mug rather than take-away. We'll done!

It was very noisy, in fact music abit too loud. Couldn't hear ourselves think as the 2 women next to us were shouting so loud whilst talking. Toasties delicious as always but service a little slow, but worth waiting for.
