Noticed the super long queue on a Friday night and decided to give them a try. Churchills does great fish and chips! They serve a decent portion size, reasonable price, good service and the staff are super friendly. What’s not to like?

Always fabulous fish and chips from Churchills! We somehow always decide on F&Cs on a Friday. It's a short drive and always get a space along the road and although they are always busy, we never wait more than 10 minutes for our order. The team are polite and efficient and seem to work incredibly hard whilst super busy. Love that everything is packaged in cardboard/paper - no plastic anywhere! Best chippy in Chelmsford!

We had take away. Vegan burger was delicious. Really could not tell the difference in bun or cheese. My sister enjoyed her 1/4 pounder burger too.
I have been going here for years and always enjoyed the fish & chips but this time they were not so good, sorry to say but i was disappointed 😔
Lovely food, definitely over priced though & doesn't do burger sauce anymore, what kind of fish & chip shop doesn't do burger sauce????
Always busy but food is good and the staff are great. Last visited on a busy Good Friday evening and the young staff were all so enthusiastic and helpful. 5 stars for them alone.
Great fish and chip dinner tonight, fish was perfect and chips lovely and hot. Staff are always very friendly and service was quick.
Usually great. But sometimes the Chips Are re.hashed..twice cooked .
