Superb. I attended with a friend today. Cracking food. Even better was the service. We used a discount code. I really appreciated the question over the tip(the server thought we accidentally gave too much) . Excellent experience tonight.
Just had a lovely meal at pizza express. We were late coming out with the kids for dinner… it’s the start of the school holidays whoop🎉🎉 … we’re starting as we mean to go on.
We were so well looked after this evening. We were served by Aagnieszka (I asked, my spelling isn’t that good! 😊). I’m only leaving this review because she was so brilliant at looking after us, nothing was too much trouble and we were quite troublesome (me & kids are rather fussy eaters).
Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable; we had such a nice, relaxing time time with our children.
Came in on sunday and was served by Agnieszka who provided lovely service, very attentive and polite. Food was served quickly and was good quality. This definitely one of the better pizza express branches i’ve been to. Would definitely come again :)
I brought my mum and children here for lunch and the staff and service were excellent. They prepared a gluten free pizza for my mum (which she loved) and my very fussy children really enjoyed their food too. The staff were friendly and accommodating and Mauro saved the day and changed my daughter's order even though it had gone through and been served! Thank you for a lovely experience!
Had a party for our kid's birthday where they get to make their own pizza. All the kids really enjoyed it. A special thank you to Remmy, who really made the party fun, and helped all the kids with their pizzas. Thanks!
We visited on a Tuesday evening at 6.30pm. As it was the school holidays restaurant was full of families at this time of day.
Highlight was the lady who served us who was super helpful. We went here with another couple and it was great we weren’t rushed and spent about 2.5hrs here. We had a couple of starts (garlic dough balls and garlic bread with mozzarella ) and then 3 Pizzas (Margherita Romana, and Diavolo Romana ) and a Niçoise salad. I didn’t realise you can essentially have any flavour pizza topping on any base even if it isn’t listed on the menu.
For dessert a couple of us shared a Triple Salted Caramel Cheesecake (which is served with gelato and toasted popcorn).
Overall Summary - pizzas were good – toppings were perfect balanced but the base of my Margherita Romana was slightly over-cooked and too crispy/black in a few places. Best thing about Pizza Express is their pizzas and the dessert was ok but not great ie popcorn a bit soggy.
We had a table booked for 16 people and they gave us all free dough ball if you downloaded the app, the food came out all at once at a reasonable time. And the waitress Agnieszka was very nice. Thanks Pizza express.
came in for drinks and starters with some friends. came in the evening and was impressed by the staff who were warm, attentive and active. in particular my waiter levi, who was very polite and charming. the food was hot and fast due to it being quiet, and i must say it has been my best visit yet !
I went in for a quick bite to eat before I started my shift. Angneskia was my waitress she is faultless as always, so welcoming and attentive. Angneskia always makes my dining experience 10/10 total credit to the pizza express team.
Been a while since I've been to a Pizza Express. Everything was same old same old...until I tried the new Cuban based pizza....I liked it a lot. Just the right amount of everything
My family and I went to chelmsford pizza express today at 7pm, and the food and service were unbeatable! Our excellent waiter Levi was very attentive and the food came very quickly. 👍🏼

It's been years since I lasted visited. We had a really enjoyable meal with fantastic service by Agnieszka. The chilli prawns are to die for!!!

Naomi and Agnieszka were fantastic on my date night never felt so welcome into a pizza express ever they really went above and beyond with the service and drinks. Naomi welcomed us at the door and her communication with us was brilliant and brought us over to our table. Agnieszka recommend some drinks for us to try and what food to get and they couldn’t be better recommendations the berry mojito in particular was amazing my girlfriend had the lasagne and I had the Nduja calzone and both were amazing would highly recommend going here and if you get these 2 ladies you’re in for a great night of service.
Mid week, lunchtime visit.
The restaurant was quiet so service was quick.
Food was superb 👌 I've had several Calzones in Italy over the years and this was up there with them.
