I feel like I’m a bit late to the party with this, but amazing venue and welcoming staff. I’d been looking for a creative work space for a long time and have hit the jack pot on my doorstep. Can’t recconend enough!
Just found this gem of a place today. Its a funky, cool space, that can be hired and reconfigured into whatever is needed. Its close to town yet slightly off the beaten track. Strong links to train and bus services. A quiet, relaxed place, selling amazing coffee. I had a Mocha with coconut milk, the best I have ever had. It offers many ways of using the building, from a meeting room, to individual quiet booths, to open work spaces. you can also hire a larger open space rearrange all the smart moveable furniture and create a space for performance of many types.....watch this space, there may be Storytelling evenings (like those in London) popping up soon, if there is enough demand. And the owner Andy is a thoroughly great guy.
I attended a course here yesterday and I was really impressed by this venue. A great space that felt comfortable. I enjoyed the course and was made to feel so welcome by Andy. Very nice green tea.
A multi purpose industrial space which has a surprisingly warm feel, peppered with chic upcycled pieces of functional art and furniture.
Incredible coffee is served in this inspiring open space that also boasts privacy in its corners, booths and panels.

This is an excellent venue! I love it here, the feeling is so chilled and laid back with the ambient smell of incense, an amazing tea & coffee range and a selection of great snacks, who wouldn’t want to be here! Some amazing workshops and courses on offer too!!

I attended a workshop here with artist Vane - the Transition is a lovely space and a true gem in Chelmsford. Art gallery/workspace/coffee shop (with delicious coffee!) I will definitely be using the space more for work related occasions, but am excited to see what more Transition have to offer!
