I popped into the Glasshouse for lunch today with my friend. We had the chicken pesto baguette which was just scrummy and we shared a large pot of tea. The Vineyards is one of the local shopping areas with traditional independent businesses - and free car parking! The Glasshouse Cafe is our favourite place, with indoor/outdoor seating and always a friendly service. Our group have been having our weekly get-togethers and breakfast at the Glasshouse

This is one of my favourite coffee shops why? Because everything is homemade and always tastes lovely. The staff are always polite and helpful.

Met my friend here for a catch up & would highly recommend, lots of choice on the menu & good prices. It was lovely just a shame weather wasnt good enough to sit at the outside tables .
We use the glass house reasonably regularly for lunch. The food is always tasty and reasonably priced. Things to recommend include: delicious chips and excellent freshly made cakes. The service is always great too.
Recommend the ‘Cheeky chocolate’ milkshake, Absolutely delicious!

My husband and I have breakfast in the Glasshouse every Monday & Friday. It's the best breakfast in the Chelmsford area, in our opinion.The ingredients are cooked to perfection, clean fresh and locally sourced. The staff are very friendly and food is reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.
