Good venue, comfortable seating throughout, only keg beers, but a decent lineup. They have a piano in the lounge area, with space to host music.
The outside area is also popular.
After my recent visit, The Two Brewers is, without doubt, my new favourite pub in Chemlsford.
I was treated like an old friend from the moment I stepped through the door and whilst I visited other establishments during my visit to the town none matched the welcome I received at the Two Brewers.
I ate several meals here and, as others have mentioned, the food is really good. They also have a good selection of drinks, with the options for spirits being particularly impressive.
A lot of thought obviously goes into everything they are doing, and speaking to the manager it was clear that they have ambitions to further improve the whole experience.
Overall, highly recommended.
Went to a 70th party here..buffet food was lovely ..staff seemed nice... venue was just right ... not been there for a long time so big change in place .. might consider my 60th there ..
Hired this place out for my daughters second birthday party. It’s such a big space, clean, tidy, and there’s an easy way to plug your phone etc in to play music (great for parties), we also hired out a soft play for the kids, and this fitted in perfectly in the space we had. They also do karaoke 🎤 which we didn’t do but I would definitely do it for an evening do! They are very helpful with any questions you have, they are also polite and friendly! We supplied our own food but I’m sure their food would be lovely as I have eaten in the actual Pub and the food is great!! Highly recommend for parties!! 🎉 thank you!!
Great atmosphere, great food, friendly staff, good range of drinks . Menu has vegan and vegetarian options. I had the Düsseldorf hot dog , sweet potato fries and garlic bread
Limited lunch menu consisting of wraps, baguettes, jacket potatoes and chips, but what's available is reasonably priced and good quality. Obviously it's a pub so a good range of alcoholic beverages are available too. Nothing flash just good honest pub grub. Recommended.

First internal visit to a pub since it has been possible to order drinks at the bar and consume them there. I have always considered the "Brewers" bar to be too small but the place was not overpopulated, so there were no major problems in getting served by bar staff. Although on a solitary occasion was so lost in their day - dream it took a while to break the spell which had immobilised them. Otherwise the beer was well kept and the bar was clean and tidy. The food? I was not there to eat!
We used the Two Brewers Malt venue room for my husband’s 50th birthday party at the weekend and were really impressed by the venue itself and the service given. The venue had a nice cosy feel to it thanks to the lighting, as well as outdoor space. The buffet food was amazing and plentiful. The staff were really accommodating before the event and throughout the whole evening allowing us to simply enjoy the celebrations. I would definitely use this venue for an event in the future!
Lovely place, freshly redecorated (or so it seems) by someone with a good taste. It's not your regular pub but a more sophisticated venue, surely with a full range of pub classics on offer though. With own garden and parking.
What a great pub. Visited during the Chelmsford restaurant festival for the Chocolat evening and we really enjoyed ourselves.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Their new chef cooks up some great dishes.
We'll definitely be making another visit. I'd advise you to go too.
I attend regular breakfast meetings with Enterprise Networking in Chelmsford, plus occasional lunch/evening meals at this venue and cannot recommend them highly enough. The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is ever too much trouble. Even catering for my vegan meals....they have always delivered. A very friendly pub/Italian restaurant.
