Went on a Thursday evening,had a table for 3. Food was lovely, fish and chips, rack of ribs X2. Plus a dessert. We booked this pub for a big family lunch and celebration of my dad's life. There were 24 of us and we had a great time. The place is really lovely just how I'd imagine a local village pub to be, with excellent service.

Nice food, atmosphere and bar lady. Still cooked lunch for us 10 mins before the kit hen closed.
Refreshing change to find a more traditional pub restaurant hidden away.
Shame this nice venue had no oat milk though 😕 being a veggie eating out can be tough in more traditional eateries!
Excellent food and very good value. The beef and stilton pie was delicious with perfect vegetables. A cut above the average pub food. Service is fast, accomodating and friendly. Looklng forward to their Christmas menu.

My return visit after many years made to feel very welcome good banter with friendly chef and staff. Excellent food served in good portions very tasty.

Have been there twice now and both times we have been more than happy about the food and service and cleanliness. Would very much recommend to anyone wanting a great reasonable priced dinner.
