Went here for some lunch on quite a quiet day and it was lovely. The waitress we had (I can’t remember her name but she had blonde hair, i think) was so helpful and chatty. The service was really good and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely amazing, I didn’t know what to expect because my boyfriend recommended it but I was really blown away and we cleared our plates. Very child friendly too, we took our 7 month old daughter and the waitress was very fond of her giving compliments & we also saw other children colouring. Would recommend and will definitely come again when returning to Chelmsford :)
Stopped here for some lunchtime food. Good value lunchtime menu, good service and decent food in a nice atmosphere. Happy to recommend.
The food here is excellent! We came for a birthday party of 8 and we had the kids menu that was very substantial. The chicken, chips, beef burger and the pizza was all tasty, hot and we didn't have long to wait. We have returned twice more and the food is just as good the cheesecake and the warm chocolate brownie with ice cream all so tasty. The service is excellent and they get to know you too, very welcoming.
Called in for lunch with work.. lovely menu for lunchtime.. I had garlic bread and a burger. Both very tasty. We had a great time atmosphere was great as were the staff. Highly recommend x
Nice as always, quite busy like usual on this visit. The food is also to a quite high standard with a nice range of choice from pasta to pizza to items straight from the grill. Staff are friendly and the restaurant is in a very nice location just set back from the river. Never had any problems when visiting this restaurant. Overall a good restaurant, just not mind-blowing in any ways
Although I was served the wrong meal to begin with but when the right one was served it was delicious. The service was great. Great place to dine outside on a warm evening.
Had a nice lunch here with my wife and son. The portion sizes are plenty big enough and the quality of food is decent. I have been here a few times and it is pretty consistent in what it provides. The staff were attentive and helped entertain my 4 year old.

We had lunch - the food was lovely and fresh. They had a good selection of veggie options. The service was great and Naomi who served us was very chatty and helpful. Would definately go back.
Food was very nice, very good for gluten free and also allergies. Our server Megan was brilliant, very helpful and also welcoming. Highly recommend eating here as great value, great food and also helpful.
We visited wildwood in chelmsford on the way from shopping. We have visited this restaurants years ago and it wasnt good, food was ok but staff that time was very slow and not very nice.

Me and my now husband had our first date here in January 2019. We came back today as we got married yesterday 🥰. The manager and staff were amazing, the food is truly wonderful the best pizza we have ever had. Wildwood made it a truly memorable evening for us both and we now have our favourite special occasion restaurant. Thankyou for the prosecco 🥰 I was blown away. Truly wonderful restaurant.

There is an airy feeling to this place. None of that being closed in sensation. If, like me, you are a veggie there are imaginative options...not all involving pasta and cheddar cheese, which is a relief. I had possibly the hugest, most filling veggie option ever. Well done Wildwood.
