A lively split level pub, with an outside drinking area, only a single ale served, band playing on this Friday night.

Jolly atmosphere and when I went in some great musicians were playing. The Bay Horse is my favourite place...and they've a pool table.

Went to a jam night to see friends, great house band, supporting singers and musicians alike big repertoire and able to work through new songs. Great beer, and it was fun to play pool - the table (admittedly small) is still £1 a game... Some friendly colourful characters, a great time.

Good pub for live music, not too busy and good bands, didnt have a full range of beers on tap (not sure why), great staff, a few p*ss heads ruin it a bit though.

The atmosphere in this place is amazing plus they have a variety of entertainment. They even have a tarot reader on a Monday night, well worth a visit, enjoy a pint whilst also sorting your life out! can't be bad. Nice one Bay Horse :)

Had a very enjoyable evening here recently and will be back. Live band were really good (Fast on the Draw back June Bank Holiday weekend), good drinks, no meals but allow you to order in your own which being in town is easy and good selection.

Great when they had Lost and Grounded on keg but I came back and the range was very poor on my second visit. Staff are lovely and the set-up for live gigs is excellent.

Talk about a difficult group of dietary requirements, with one vegan, one vegetarian and one lactose and gluten free, we did stretch the chef to his limits! The waiters were very friendly and helpful and the place itself was pleasant enough. It did seem like our Groupon afternoon tea was very different to the normal afternoon tea, but we had a good time, lots of laughs and nice relaxed atmosphere.

This place is awesome. I've eaten here a lot, great for lunch, a nice evening meal, and even Sunday lunches are awesome. Live music at weekends is great - not usually a noisy band but really nice acoustic sets and cool live looping type musicians. They have a large outdoor decked area and really nice cocktails. It's great for us as it's not full of youngsters, more thirty and forty something's

Had afternoon tea there today and it was lovely. Had a lovely selection of sandwiches and was asked before they prepared them if anyone had any allergies or anything we didn't like or if anyone were vegetarians which I thought was very thoughtful. The scones were beautiful and the cake was scrummy! Would definitely go there again. Wish I lived nearer because would love to have an evening meal there next.
