Table close to us wasn’t cleared for about twenty minutes .Nachos were a disappointment, very dry with some black ones which was off putting.
Ribs excellent, ribeye only had 16oz option available but also excellent , side salad smaller than expected/usual.
Service was slow for drinks but very quick for the food, overall experience was good but can be improved
Our waitress, Diane, could not have been more helpful or attentive.
Our steaks were all delicious as were the accompaniments.
She arranged a Happy Birthday message on one of our parties desert plates which made an 85 year old man feel very special !!
We definitely recommend this restaurant.
Had a fantastic meal here with friends. The service was professional and attentive without being too pushy, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the food - pulled pork donut and sea bass fillets - was superb.
The only negative is that by removing the bar area, there is nowhere to relax before the meal if you arrive early.

Reasonable location and parking building looks like an old barn conversion on the inside however not sure if it genuine, but is a pleasant sourounding

All 3 came with onion loaf and is delicious and a meal in its self bigger potion would be nice

Decided to have a Birthday dinner here, it was absolutely wonderful.
Our waitress, named Gabi, was extremely friendly and was wonderful.
Bought the Butchers Block 27oz sharing meal, and 2 Surf and Turf filet mignon.
Steaks were cooked to perfection, exactly how we requested.
Got a bottle of cloudy bay Sauvignon blanc, and a couple Strawberry Twists.
For dessert we had the Creme Brulee, and a sharing chocolate cake. Both were delicious.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience, or better food.
The food at this place is insane! Definitely the best restaurant we attended during my stay in England. I loved the atmosphere and our Greek server was absolutely brilliant and attentive to our 2 year old grand daughter's needs of getting her food ahead of ours.
Price-wise, it's more than I'd usually pay at a restaurant £95 for 3 adult mains and a toddler meal with a soda drink each. No entres or dessert. But the food was definitely excellent!
We’ve visited your venue on Saturday lunch and we are so happy we did so as it was our first experience with you. The food was spot on and our server Lucia made sure we had everything we need from start to finish. She is a real credit to this place and deserves a recognition as she made our stay truly unforgettable experience. Will be back very soon. Well done M&C!
An amazing dining experience, first class service and delicious food. In particular our waitress Sharon G, very attentive and welcoming, a pleasure to speak to and really polite. We were celebrating my daughter’s 18th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Family lunch for a special occasion. Food great, steaks are of course the raison d'etre of this place and you cannot go wrong here. We are returning customers so very happy, again. Service got a bit slower during desserts but not a big deal at all. I really like the atmosphere, lots of character without being contrived on bit. I'll be back!
Great service with lovely food. Came for lunch with some friends. Had normal menu and a special lunch menu, which had the option of two course or three course at great prices. Would recommend a visit.

Really lovely meal here, shared the camembert starter, Steak was tasty, bbq ribs were delicious, and topped off with creme brulee and winter berry pavlova. Cocktails as always were great. Shelly also looked after us well. We'll be back 😁👍

My family, friends and myself all visited the Chelmer Village restaurant on Saturday, the 22nd of October. We were very lucky to have AAYUSH as our waiter. Firstly, I need to say the food was as always, not a disappointment. I’m a regular to Miller and Carters and It was my choice to celebrate my 50th at your establishment and as always, the food was exceptional and much enjoyed. But primarily I’m writing this review to compliment you on your waiter AAYUSH. This young man and I mean that in a very non-patronising way as I was celebrating my 50th, and he’s at least half my age. He is an absolute asset to the Chelmer Village branch and Miller and Carter of a whole. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, very well educated on what wines go with what courses and made our experience all that much more enjoyable. I can assure you we will return to Chelmer Village branch very soon and we will be requesting to be seated in Ayush’s area so that we can experience such great service again.

Really excellent service always at this Miller and Carter. The food is always excellent and properly served. We always seem to get the Greek gentleman as our waiter and I want to say that he is the friendliest, most considerate and helpful service person I have met in a long time. He's an asset and you need to keep hold of him.
I came here with my friends, everyone was so lovely, especially our server Meg. We was greeted at the door with a friendly smile by Hannah, who took us to the table and made sure we were served drinks promptly. Everything was great, food, atmosphere and service. 10/10 recommend
Service was excellent and we weren't left waiting to be seated for ages and the wait for food was really brief. We arrived around 3.30pm and ordered from the early menu which can be 2 or 3 courses. We went for the steak and the beef dripping sauce which was a really rich beef gravy. The waitress was polite and very helpful. The price was around £60 for the 2 of us but that included 3 courses, drinks, coffee and extras with the main meal. Great place and yes they are child friendly and there is wheelchair access.
This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. Piotrek who was out waiter knows what he is doing and what he is alking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is his main priority. Food is pretty good, we had 3 course meal and everything was absolutely delicious and their prices it’s 100% worth it.
Visited here for my granddaughters 18th birthday meal. The food was amazing and the service was really good. Big shout out to Sharon G who was so professional and attentive nothing was too much trouble for her. Service with a smile will definitely recommend and visit again.
