Walked past it looking for somewhere to eat and saw their lunch deal. Two courses for 15. And 2 cocktails for 16. Where can you get a deal as good as that anywhere else? The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. Was so full by the end. Really enjoyed and will definitely have to come back again.
We decided to visit Turkish Kitchen as a post exam celebratory meal and we were left in awe. This restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience for those seeking the best traditional grilled food in town. From the moment you step foot in the picturesque restaurant, you’ll be greeted with warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere. Their menu boasts a wide variety of Turkish dishes each made with fresh and authentic ingredients. A wise man told us if the complementary Turkish bread is fluffy and soft - the mains will not disappoint you, and in fact he was right!
For the mains we had ordered;
Iskender- Char-grilled lean tender minced lamb skewers, served on toasted bread with special tomato sauce with yoghurt and drizzled with butter.
Mixed Adana-Char-grilled minced lamb and chicken on skewer with herbs.
The mains were delicious , authentic and full of flavour. The portions were very generous and they were both accompanied with Turkish bulgar rice and a vinaigrette salad.
However ; I had ordered a strawberry mojito ‘ which lacked in all flavours- tasted bland and watered down.
Nevertheless, the food and experience was immaculate. We will definitely be dining in again soon. Please follow our instagram @halal.diners for more reviews!
Had a wonderful autumnal lunch in here today. The staff were really kind and accomodating and the service was super quick too. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Highlight of the meal was definitely the borek rolls: warm spinach and feta cheese to die for!!!! As well as the chicken shish which was chargrilled to perfection. The meat moussaka was good too and as always, hummus, which I can't get enough of, was 10/10.
Turkish restaurants are always the best. Will definitely be coming here again.
Pretty good restaurant in the center of Chelmsford for Turkish food. The decor and vibe are really nice and staff are great, really good service here. The food isnt too badly priced, not cheap but I'd say fair for what it is and where the restaurant is based. Quality of the food was very nice, what you'd expect from a Turkish restaurant. I haven't had any other Turkish food in Chelmsford but would recommend this place and sure I'll be back.
This is my 2nd time eating at Turquoise and is fantastic. Their menu is very simple, well selected and refined. Aayush was very nice and patient and allowed us enough time to decide. Not forgotten the 2 4 1 cocktails. Perfect.
Beautiful establishment in a good location with great decor. Food was tasty but on the pricier side relative to the usual Turkish cuisine spots.
Very welcoming and attentive staff. An attractive setting and comfortable seating. We had a wide selection to choose from on our extremely reasonably priced lunchtime deal and all four of us were very happy indeed with our meals. We'll definitely visit again.
We went for a dinner with friends. We were generally satisfied. The atmosphere was very good. I ate Adana Sarma as a meal, it was very delicious. But the bulgur next to it was very bad. It would be better if it was rice. And the imam bayıldı it was very successful. I definitely recommend. For dessert, baklava and pistachio were delicious. Portions were hearty.
Amazing restaurant. Make sure Aayush serves you for an added feel of luxury. Enjoyed every bit of it. Got free drinks and an amaziiiiing cake for desert. Cheese, chocolate icecream cake will melt your worries away.
Had a lovely family meal here.
We were served by Aayush, who was lovely, and polite
Me and my partner visited Turquoise kitchen in Chelmsford for the first time on Friday evening, all I can say is why didn’t we visit sooner!
There was a great atmosphere and all the staff were super friendly and welcoming.
Food was amazing, all freshly cooked to order!
Would highly recommend attending and a special mention to our server Aayush!
We came to visit for a late lunch on Saturday. We got a nice window table right away - no hassle. The space is mesmerising, the ambience is great. All staff were very polite and the food came reasonably fast. We ordered creamy mushrooms and calamari for starters and chicken shish and Adana beyti for mains - portions weren’t huge for Turkish restaurants standards but the food was very well seasoned and presented. Definitely 5 stars from me.

First time visiting the turquoise kitchen and from the lovely decor, super service, wonderful cocktails and amazing food, we felt spoilt from start to finish. The atmosphere was great, there was a live DJ and our server Aayush was fabulous with his attentiveness and recommendations. All in all a fantastic evening and will definitely return!
Good food, great service, clean restaurant, atmosphere is nice, it’s a good place for family and friends to eat.
Thanks Mohammed for the lovely service!
Went for a lunch with friends and had a very good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful, provided explanation on few dishes which helped us to chose from menu.
It’s based at High Chelmer Shopping centre and finding a nearby parking spot shouldn’t be a problem.
Food was served in time, was delicious however the prices are higher than similar range restaurants.
All in all, we had a good experience.
I went there for a dinner for my birthday recently and had a great time. The food was delicious as always and the place looks amazing after the refurbishment. Definitely our favourite Turkish restaurant in Chelmsford!
