Went there for the first time. Nice quaint Cottage. Consummate front of house. Very welcoming . Starters were good but a bit lacking ...the salt beet and prawns. My wife had the fish which was very good. I had the pork which was also very good. The black pudding and chorizo, I thought was too strong
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant, stunning building and views. The food is amazing, so well cooked, lovely flavours and beautifully presented. Staff are very welcoming. Wonderful experience.
Had a great experience here today. It was our first ever visit.
We had the halibut and the linguine, and both were outstanding 👌.
The place had a great feel and decor.
We were even checking the diary as to when we could come back. It was that good!

What a wonderful place! Loved the decor, the vibe and the amazing food! The owners were delightful and looked after us so well.
Look out for Steak Saturday and the reasonably priced set menu.

Lovely food and decor, the service is so so, if you ask for bread, you have to ask 3 times. The ‘artisan’ crackers were missing from the cheese board to start and when they turned up, they’re clearly not artisan. Servers don’t realise they need to get rid of empty bottles from the table
Oh wow what an experience. We decided to have lunch here on a recommendation from a friend and booked a table for 1pm on a Saturday, unfortunately we were caught up in an accident tailback on the A12, we let the restaurant no and they were marvellous and kept our table for us.
