Had a fantastic lunch here on the way to a long weekend nearby. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious and left feeling incredibly satisfied. Professional, observant staff who noticed when a glass needed filling be it with wine or water.

Wonderful Sunday lunch at the Flintlock. Relaxed surrounding with very friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent and was the selection of wines. Nice little walk along the canal was good to have too as you won’t leave hungry. Met the Chef Owner Tom too who was really friendly and interesting

Beautiful setting right by the canal. Easy atmosphere complete with swivel chair. Food excellently presented. Local seasonal ingredients but room for improvement on flavours and seasonings. Young chef with bags of potential. Look forward to visiting again and being wowed

We've been following Chef Thom for quite a while,as well as half the Internet.
He's changed from A la carte to tasting menus only recently.
Which suits us as it takes the hard decisions away on what to choose.
