Stopped by after hiking up Cheddar Gorge and our path ended up leading us to this little gem. We both ordered a scone with cream & jam, alongside a hot chocolate with whipped cream. Sad to say that the hot chocolate and whipped cream was 50/50 but it was still relatively nice. The scone was nice and warm which was really tasty. Plenty of guests stopped by with dogs, with the staff handing out dog bowls to help them hydrate. Lovely scenery and a sweet bite, I’ll be stopping by here again next time visit.

Best place to have some hot food after walking around a lot in cheddar! You can hire e-bikes for low prices as well!

The best place in Cheddar Gorge! Just steps away from the main road and gorge walk, it’s the perfect place to stop for ice cream, lunch or a cold drink! They even welcomed our dog and brought her a water dish after our walk. Would highly recommend!!!

Very friendly owner and staff, beautiful side garden. Just had some lemonade, a cappuccino, chips and a pasty but we enjoyed the quiet and the shade in a beautiful setting.

Stunning views. Friendly staff and very clean. However the pastie was sadly heated in a microwave so was very soggy. Also not a lot of filling at all. No flavour. Shame. I would not recommend the pasties sorry guys.

Amazing service from Joanna and her team at Rockface cafe. Serving 100+ hungry and thirsty cyclists before they struggle up Cheddar Gorge on a Saturday morning is no easy task, but the service was slick, and the coffee and cakes were fantastic. They even opened early to accommodate us. Loads of outdoor space and a great location. We'll be back very soon.

Great place for a coffee. Just far enough from the main run of the Gorge to be quiet and relaxing. Tables under a plant covered pergola and beautiful garden. Lovely view of the cliff faces. Friendly and efficient staff. A small but excellent menu with some catering for allergies

Amazing location - the perfect cycling pit stop in the gorge. Coffee and cakes were delicious and the atmosphere is great. The finish and decor is top quality and the outdoor terrace is a sun trap with a wonderful view. Friendly staff...the lad that served us made sure our water bottles were full up before we left. Will definitely be back.

Well what a pleasant surprise, popped in on the recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. Had a "breakfast pizza" which was amazing, Italian ham, wild mushrooms and egg. Partner who is vegetarian had similar minus the ham with extra anti pasta. Coffee is one of the best in Cheddar, and very well priced. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dogs welcome. We will be back.

Very friendly owner and staff, excellent locally-roasted coffee and a nice view over the mill pond. The owner invited our kids to feed the chickens and was very friendly, chatty and informative. Most definitely recommend if you’re looking for somewhere to stop for refreshments and a bite to eat.

Went in with a couple of food intolerance and instead of no choices I had elsewhere the owner offered to make me a free from pizza. This was made even better by it being a whole pizza for £6! Not only this but the whole feel of the place was brilliant. Lots of high quality food options with great ingredients (I know as I got talking to the owner) this was reinforced by the chickens out the back of the seating area. The owner then very kindly offered yo take my daughter to feed the chickens. This, I am sure will prove to be a very popular spot to eat and drink and I am looking forward to visiting again.
