Food was incredible…been numerous times and never had anything other than great food. We had two dairy free currys that we’ve not had before…special fried rice and chapati. Both curry’s had loads of flavour and where nicely hot…no casseroles here, proper tasting curry only! Highly recommend….defo the best curry house in the area. Quiet but nice authentic music and no hassling in terms service…evening flows at a nice pace.
Amazing food for a fair price, we had such a tasty dinner! The service was ok at best, it all felt a bit rushed and distant.
I've had multiple takeaways from Spice Cottage now and its been great every time. They even gave me some free dishes the last time I ordered. Delicious, fast and not over-priced.

Really good food, and the delivery is a bonus! Usually right on time and sometimes early but I have had a couple of orders that have taken over an hour to arrive.
We sat in and had a lovely meal here. Highly recommend.
Great Curry House! Ive passed through Cheddar 3 years in a row and ate in Cheddar Cottage 3 times and i have had a consistently excellent meal every time. The chicken madras has been nice and hot every time and the garlic naan, poppadoms and rice, perfect texture and flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant every time. Great service. 5*

Visiting Cheddar and had a lovely Indian takeaway from Spice Cottage, worth a visit if in town
The food was wonderful which is definitely the main thing, but delivery was three quarters of an hour late, with no apologies from the staff at the restaurant or driver. Also every other takeaway I have had came with a free poppadom, a small mango chutney/raita dip and a side salad garnish, nothing with this one at all, shame. The lateness has put me off ordering again.
