What a hidden gem, steeped in 18th century architectural charm.
Buzzing with a vibrant atmosphere, well greeted. Slick service. The menu varied (evening) with the bonus of specials as well. There were even strands of saffron & ginger in the Katsu chicken lollipops garnish...another level!!

The coach breakfast is massive….bit appetite required for it! Wife had the eggs Benedict which she absolutely loved.

What a hidden gem! Had a fabulous meal with friends. The food and service was first class and reasonably priced too. Will most definitely be returning. The restaurant was full and as such there was a lovely atmosphere. Strongly advise you book well in advance to secure a table. Thank you to all the
Beautiful building and fabulous food and atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone. Our waitress Becky was so helpful and bubbly and my friends and I had a wonderful evening.
Visited for a small cooked breakfast.
Enjoyed the food; it was well cooked and presented. £5 for a small breakfast is good value for money. Toast was a little on the pale side but that's just my preference and hardly worth mentioning.

The roast of the day (beef) was incredible! We definitely could have had seconds! Highly recommend! We also had a pudding, we had cheesecake of the day (red velvet) & Bakewell tart - both delicious! The staff were fab with our little boy too!
I have never tasted food like it! Absolutely amazing!!! Staff very friendly and helpful everyone needs to eat here at least once in their lives, but I can guarantee it won't be your last! Can't wait to go back again

I had the regular breakfast and it was delicious , all good quality ingredients , yes a little dearer than spoons say but you pay for what you get and the little extra is definitely worth it .

Always a lovely meal at reasonable prices. Have a good variety of gluten free. If I was to ask for anything it would be for an extra choice of g/f desert. Otherwise everything great 👍
