Been coming in here for 18 and a half years, every time the staff change it's always welcoming, I eat here near enough every week and drink here at least twice a week, staff are so welcoming and lovely, even though it's changed into a stone house the food is just as good if not better than how it used to be. New management Christian has made massive improvements to the place. Jess and Fab are great team leaders and really go above and beyond taking in consideration of the customer. The pair are friendly, funny and polite, as are the majority of the staff. Defiantly recommend to anyone looking for a fun family place to eat and drink�
Have eaten here on many occasions and 9 out of 10 times it has been wonderful. I wont lie that on a few occasions there have been issues with the food, but with free parking, a local supermarket nearby and a great atmosphere, I still highly recommend it.

Where do I start! It’s has a wonderful experience!! The food was cooked to a perfection! Staff were amazing! There was one staff member I’m in particular called Jessica. She was inviting, friendly and supportive! Whatever I needed she was there ready to lend a hand! definitely will be going back! �

Well we arrived late to be precise 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and well I can say for them 15 minutes Tina the pizza maker did an amazing job the pizza was delicious that's how a pizza should be 😋 and for the rest of the staff amazing couldn't falut it at all for the money ❤️ we Evan took the rest home amazing
damn this is a GREAT DEAL. A tenner to pile your plate high at the carvery? I'm not saying it's the best quality meat, but the roast potatoes are perfect and the gravy is banging.
Carvery food served in a big pub atmosphere good beer selection well organised but can get very busy and crowded better off booking nice big car park and reasonably priced

Just been in with my son. This morning I had to cancel my card not thinking it would cancel my card on my phone my Apple Pay google pay etc. The staff absolutely lovely gave us the food and drinks for free. Omg in 41 years I’ve never experienced such kindness. Thank you so much I’ll definitely be tipping large next time we are in :-))) brilliant.
Amazing burgers 🍔 the dirty clicker!! Also my mother in law is on oxygen and doesn’t eat large meals, she had the crispy delicious fish and I’ve not seen her eat so much for such a long time!! We all really enjoy our meals
Not been here for a long time and decided to return after seeing good reviews and we had a lovely evening, food was good and the staff were amazing, from the chef serving the food on the carvery section to the girls waiting on the tables. Emmileh and Jenny (from the block) haha were both lovely and down to earth girls and are a credit to your team. They made our evening lovely and we had a good laugh with them and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely come again :)

Yet another amazing visit to the Micker Brook, we had burgers that were the business. And I highly recommend pizza especially when Joe is making them, fresh dough made that day. And after living in Italy for a while I know pizza and I can say Joe got this bloody close to an Italian pizza. Not only that his service was amazing and he went out of his way to make our visit amazing. Our server emi was lovely and friendly a credit to Christian and the management. Thanks guys
We came for food on Sunday with our son. We had an amazing meal and great value for money. Our waitress Jamie was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her and service with a smile. Very much enjoyed our visit.

Food was amazing! me and a couple friends came in for a carvery and a lovely lady named kaiya carved for us, she was very generous with the portion sizes and so efficient and chatty! everything was so clean as well. will definitely be returning soon

Staff were very friendly. Would like to thank Laurie for her patience. Carvery had a good selection of meats. Great to see somewhere cater for a smaller appetite without being forced onto a child menu. All food hot and tasty.
Came in as we had a gift voucher but will certainly be back. Our carvery was tasty and hot. There was a good selection of veg and roast pots. The dessert I had was apple pie which was lovely with lots of apple. However what made our visit were the lovely staff (especially Emmy) who made us feel very welcome and talking to them, they were proud to work here which is great to see. Any jobs going? ;)
Although very busy today (22/10/23), food came out quick, fresh and hot. Kelly served our drinks and my food. Other member of my party had carveries. She made sure my food alterations were put through correctly, and she was very polite and friendly despite the overwhelmingly busy atmosphere.

Popped in tonight for a quick bite to eat to find the staff working their little socks off as usual but they always remain so friendly and welcoming. We had a delicious carvery which I couldn’t find any fault with and was attended by a young lady called Millie who was extremely helpful and polite. Great food, great service, will be back soon.
