We had a lovely dinner at rainbow 88 this week. Shereen and Steven were really friendly and made us feel very welcome 🤗 we had some dim sum, chicken wings, noodles and tofu, all were delicious! The best dish was the roast duck and pork which was so full of flavour. We will definitely be visiting again 😊
I came here in a group of six on a Saturday night.
The food was amazing! Some ordered separately, and some had the banquet. I had the banquet menu and the food was lovely and hot and fresh. The portions were really good. We were so full we couldn't finish!!!
The staff were so lovely and kind to us, and were very attentive.
The food is on the pricier side, BUT you get what you pay for. The portions were good, the food was delicious and you can tell that they're buying high quality ingredients.
I would recommend, and I will be returning.
We booked here last minute as undecided what to for our 15 year anniversary. First time visit. Cant really fault it in anyway. Food was hot and full of flavour.
Asked between courses if we were ready for the next or would we like a break, so we didnt feel obliged to rush. Which was nice in this day and age. We will be going back very soon.

I'd like to address a previous review that just cannot be true. My daughter has worked at Rainbow88 for nearly 2 years, never been paid below minimum wage and always brings home a meal of her choice from every shift, she has never been shouted at and if staff members are under 18 then to ensure their welfare is looked after Linda believes in also having a relationship with the parents.
We've also eaten here as a family many times and attended the charity events that Linda has organised and always enjoyed the food and had fantastic service from all the team members.
I celebrated my 60th birthday here with my family but I asked them if it was possible to recreate food we had in Singapore when we lived there in the 1970's - they were superb. The memories brought back by the flavours they captured - just priceless. The team were wonderful all evening, nothing was too much trouble, the food was fabulous and the dragon dance at the end was a perfect gift to end the evening. I can't thank them enough.
Not been here for too long. The service was friendly and welcoming and the food fabulously fresh and tasty. It's good to be back and we won't leave it so long now.

Fantastic find especially if you have gluten intolerance - they offer a full gluten free menu and staff have a strong understanding of cross contamination control.

Just had the Sunday buffet. All food cooked to order fresh and it is really tasty, none of the cheap mass produced food most buffet places serve up.

First visit for work's meal. Located in Cheadle Hulme shopping park, lots of parking. Table set up for the 10 of us including Christmas crackers. There were a few other groups dining but fairly quiet.
Staff were attentive, food was good - with several different dishes for main course, preceded by soup and crispy duck pancakes. Staff encouraging the chaps to finish off the courses before the next were served. Pleasant evening. Loved the flower garlands on the ceiling.

We do not visit often but received a fabulous welcome. Our waitress was so lovely taking the time to make my 87 year old mother feel so special on her birthday. The food was gorgeous, we shared a quarter of duck as a starter and then mixed sweet and sour and lemon king prawns. Fabulous. Thank you to Linda and her team.
Me and a friend went here as the restaurant we had a originally planned to go to had no tables free. We were a bit shocked at the prices at first. But the service was good and the food was excellent. I would definitely go there again
