Aeron took great care of us from the moment we arrived. Excellent service and atmosphere. The live music was a nice touch.
It was a quiet Monday early evening, and the kitchen was due to close at 7:30 for staff training. We just had time for a two course dinner and a pint. There were plenty of vegan options, including the specials, and the food was all good. A decent butternut squash soup, mains of gnocchi, and a particularly tasty mushroom pie. All washed down well with a well kept ale. The service from Megan and Ryan was excellent, thoughtful and well timed. Will be back again

You can use you Tesco's Club Card points - worth double the money at Chef and Brewer.
Lovely pub/restaurant. Food was lovely - we had a steak and ale pie; a Cajun chicken burger, and the chef made a non-spicy chicken burger for us (which wasn't on the menu).
It's a lovely, cosy place, with different seating sections, and good decor.
Staff were all very friendly and efficient.
It wasn't busy, although, we had booked, anyway. We did go quite early, around 5pm.
Car parking is free but MUST be validated with your reg number when you go in the pub.
There is seating outside, by the car park. Not a beer garden, as such, but still good to sit out on a warm day.
The meals with 2 rounds of drinks (3 people) came to around £70, but I had converted £14 worth of Tesco's Club Card vouchers into Chef and Brewer rewards, which doubled the amount, equalling £28 off the meal. Fantastic!
