Opted for the Roast Beef Dinner. Massive Yorkshire pudding and a good plate of food. Nice gravey too. A thumbs up from me.
Lovely pub inside and out. Food on the carvery is really good quality. Made the mistake of getting too much! But it was awesome. Lamb shank and beef were to die for.
Fantastic pub, with a great selection of drinks and although the menu is quite small, the food is simply wonderful. The sirloin steak was absolutely delicious!
I've been to this pub a few years ago & found it to be a nice pub with a good carvery. I went there a couple of weeks ago & found it friendly, updated & the new owners trying so hard to make it work. Food lovely and staff helpful. I find some of the recent reviews picky & a little bit OTT? Not sur
The Hesketh experience just gets better and better. This time not only was the food amazing, our waiter has been superb, walking the extra mile every time despite it being a very busy moment (NYDay) , the chef was very flexible and kind, offering to cook me the veggies from scratch to make it suitab
Easy off road parking. The meals and service have always been good.
Great place for a Sunday Roast, always fresh and full of variety of meat and vegs. The place is nice and cosy, weekends always busy. Worthy to wait for a table, highly recommended
Credit where credit is due!!! Now I am the biggest chicken wing fan on earth!! I just had THE BEST chicken wings I have ever had here tonight. My second best thing is a Sunday roast. I am just making my way through the turkey Sunday roast and I felt I should take a moment to write this review... It'
The Sunday roast was traditional but done very right. Staff was also accommodating with the size of our group, which was nice.
Very nice pub. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a welcoming member of staff. After getting our drinks, we were seated and were served by a very approachable and down-to-earth server. The only negative was the 45 minute wait for food 🙁 But for this I would have rated the experience 5 stars! Nice staf
Haven't been for years but new Management when recently went for meal. Food was excellent and not all usual pub grub. Manager and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. First time took part in pub quiz and enjoyed evening. Will definitely go again. Tuesday nights meals 2 for 1 as well
Catch up family meal, we were a large group and had our own area which was very private. Food choice was excellent and when served lived up to expectations. Staff were very friendly and attentive, no issues even with some of the party being delayed. Fabulous atmosphere, would definitely recommend, a
My go to place for a Sunday carvery. Serving 12-7pm adult £13.95 or extra large £15.95. Never disappoints
It is a warm and welcoming pub. The staff are all polite and friendly. There is a good choice of food on offer and at reasonable pricing too that represents the quality of the food. Certainly worth a visit with the family or friends. The carvery on a Sunday is very popular so advise to book ahead to
