Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely views, staff lovely, plus right on my doorstep too, it’s a great little pub, lovely restaurant too & they do have events here too,
Absolutely wonderful! staff were very welcoming and the food was tremendous. The pub is set in some lovely grounds amd would certainly recommend.. The kids were able to play on there own, safe environment and an overall lovely way to finish my Saturday off .
Thanks you all
Half way through a hike we stopped off here for lunch. The ploughman's was generous with 3 types of cheese, lots of space in the beer garden and friendly staff.
Love this pub. Food is really good the staff are lovely and friendly, love that it's very dog friendly too always walk my dog first and then food after. My dog also gets 2 sausages as she is well known the member of staff reminds me to order the sausages if I have forgotten to order them that is
First time i been there the food second to none, a very warm and cosy pub, with freindy staff, will be returning
Great family meal, 7 adults and children under 5, food was superb, staff really friendly .
Great little boozer with a real old pub feel. Great food also. Highly recommend a visit.
They organised a small buffet for us and it was outstanding. Gorgeous wee pub with some awesome Christmas decorations. Friendly staff too. You've probably heard of 'Hygge'... this place knocked it out of the park.
Stopped off at the Robin Hood last night for an impromptu date night, just like we used to in the old days. We knew our friend Andy had moved on so we were unsure of whether the quality of food would be the same.......they had run out of chicken? But we needn't have worried it was delicious as always and no request was too much trouble all the staff were as friendly as they used to be. Although it was new faces, they made us feel very welcome xxx such an unexpectedly lovely evening xxx
Hidden treasure....beautiful surroundings, grade two listed inn. Great staff very friendly and good fresh ingredients used, good kids menu too.... Loved the fresh fish of the day I had perfectly cooked. Thank-you I will see you soon!
Stopped in for dinner with our English friends almost 2 years ago this November. Ended up staying 'till the place closed. Was one of the high spots of our visit to Ireland and England celebrating our 50 years of marriage. Excellent food, service and just plain good and friendly people. Our friends assure us that it has gotten nothing but better ever since. We find that very easy to believe. Keep plugging. Jim & Shelly McLaughlin, New Hampshire, USA.
Great location ,lunchtime food excellent good choice and very quick. The staff are very helpful and informative.
Lovely food! The pub looks lovely, we were sat in the restaurant although I personally prefer the look of the bar area. Service was impeccable and the staff very friendly.
One of the best pubs I found in Medway so far!
The Robin Hood is a lovely pub in the countryside. Easy to get to off the M2. The food was very good, and plenty of it. The price a little over average. The setting of the pub is wonderful, but it does smell like a pub. Lovely wood fire burning which brings a different feel! They also have a separate room which has a more restaurant feel. The outside seating area is huge and looks fab, too cold to sit out but in the summer I am sure this is a great place to visit especially with the young members of the family. The service was fab, lovely attentive man behind the bar. The food came very quickly and was really good.
A little hide away that has a lovely outside are, paved over with plenty of seating and a play area for kids. There is also a coveted outside area with 4 or 5 tables. There is a decent sized free car park.
The pub itself is an old style building with low ceilings giving it a cosy feel. They offer food which is pretty standard pub fayre but what I saw come out looked good and portion sizes were good too.
Outside is dog friendly which is great as the pub is situated on the North Downs Way so there are dog walkers as well as cyclists too.
They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Super cute hidden pub off the beaten track. Lovely garden which oozes character and charm. Wish we had discovered it at the start of summer, but we will be sure to visit again soon! Inside looks small so probably would advise booking in the winter months.
We sadly needed to hold a wake after a service at a nearby crematorium. From the first point of contact to the wake the team were professional, sympathetic and unobtrusive.
The buffet was good value and not short even if the chicken pieces disappeared the fasted. Maybe a few more of those another time. A good range of snacks and sandwiches followed by a very nice chocolate cake made by the venue.
Thanks to all the team, much appreciated by the family.
Regards Stephen
Nice pub in lovely setting. Food is brilliant and staff are really friendly, came on a Friday night and it wasn't too busy, very cosy pub

Great local pub restaurant. Superb service with a smile. Very quiet away from all the busy roads and town. Sounds of nature all around you if you sit at a table outside. Sheltered area available. Has a wood stove going during the xolder months.

Love this Pub. Stands alone nearby to shady woodland footpaths and Sunny banks with wonderful views. Very old building, with cosy bars and plenty of outside seating. Great "pop in" whilst out walking. Or drive to for great food. Just stopped by for snacks and refreshments this visit.
Simply a fantastic venue. Off the best and track yet only minutes from M2. Rural location. Good food and large selection of beers etc. Best enjoyed outdoors so ideal on a day. Went to #ryanfest yesterday and it was 1st class. Looking forward to going next year!
Nice traditional little pub with good food and friendly service. We reserved a table for dinner and everyone was very happy with their meals. Special mention goes to the Tarragon Chicken which my partner said was delicious! My salmon and prawn linguine was nice too but be careful of the chilli - it bites! If I order this again I will ask for them to turn down the spice a little :-) I would recommend The Robin Hood for a quiet but noteworthy place to eat, drink and relax.
A bit out of the way but it's worth the minimal effort. Plenty of parking for drivers. Very convenient if you have been walking the nearby routes. If you're looking for good pub food, well prepared and served by friendly staff, then The Robin Hood is ideal. I can confirm that the Bangkok Bad Boy burger (v) was de-lish (go for the the chunky chips), as were the Katsui Curry (vg) and cheese ploughman's (v). The 'pie of the day' (chicken, ham & leek) was huge and tasty! I am reliably informed that the white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake was also fab-u-lous. Plenty of outside seating as well on decent weather days. Would happily return and happy to recommend. PS: did I mention that the chunky chips were totes de-lish?? 😋😋😋😋
Visited on a Sunday afternoon and went for the roast - rude not to! It came out in under 10 minutes and we were hungry so we were very grateful for the speed of service. I wouldn't rave about the roast but it filled a hole and was nice enough. Lovely pub and outdoor areas and the staff were lovely. Perfect spot for a slow Sunday afternoon and a nice walk.
Ordered here for a get together with some of my friends. Delivery isn't too bad but each place is different depending on where you're ordering from. The food was presented nicely even for a takeaway, my veggie burger with an interesting name was delicious.
The levels are going up with the veggie meals but was not as spicy as I would have liked. That's my only issue, if you say spicy it must be spicy for the big boys/girls not like sweet chilli sauce. Bangkok bad boy is a bad boy
My favourite pub to go to after a healthy ride on the bike. The bathrooms are always clean and on sunny days there's a possibility to sit down outside. Playground for children and outside tap for dogs. Strongly recommend thick chips as they are delicious.
We went here my mother in laws 60th and was perfect, we had the whole conservatory area reserved for our party which looked out onto a wooded area with a swing to the side for children to play on. The food was amazing and our waiter was brilliant even arranged a lovely birthday desert. We have already recommended this place
Lovely location to enjoy a family dinner with some lovely walks nearby.
The only criticism is that I would replace the chef,
Although the food portion is good, it was let down by under cooks items being served.
Unlikely I would return because of this
Dog friendly, off the beaten track, a bit pricey but worth it for the friendly staff, dog treats & beautiful walk in quintessentially British countryside. Food looked amazing but didn't sample any.
Dropped in here after a walk across Bluebell Hill, with friends.
It was definitely worth the visit the Goat Curry and rice alone will bring me back, the menu has something tasty to cater for all.
Also a nice garden to let the kids loose in as well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Thank you and see you soon.
This was a lovely pub, caught it on a quieter day of half term. Walking the North Downs. Nice bit of food and a few beers. Historic pub going way back. Publican was very good and offering to help with the littlest things
