For us long drive from Oxford to central belt. Charnock richard north is a good place to stop and refresh caffeine levels. The supermarket is quite upmarket but has a good selection of sandwiches etc. for this who need a break to get screen time there is game store. The toilets are clean.
I stopped by as I was using the Tesla superchargers nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the food was delicious and affordable. I especially enjoyed the Costa Coffee and the Burger King. The service station was easy to access from the motorway and had plenty of parking spaces. I would highly recommend this place to anyone travelling on the M6.
Not a bad place to stop at for a rest. Doesn't look too great when you pull in, but inside looks nice and clean, with a fairly good choice for food and drink. It's on both sides of the M6 and you can cross from one side to the other via the connecting bridge from where you can gaze over the traffic if you are that way inclined.
Clean and tidy. Had bathroom and food and drink facilities. KFC and Burger King on yhe bridge between North and South services. A little cold there but otherwise fine.
It’s very lovely 🥰 lounge in GF for tea ☕️ break with your family and friends.
I was with my family for a lunch visit on noon time.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and specially food 🍱 was delicious 😋 and green
It’s very nice environment with good condition and nice view for short break near to lake.
We stopped in here for rest and have a lunch 🥗 and small shopping.
Their fish 🐟 and chips 🍟 was very tasty 😋 and different.
I strongly recommend if you are on that area staying and rest as I found them very well,
Also you can park very close to main road and not very crowded only be careful when you want to exit please U turn and back the same way as you entered.
Handy stop on a long journey and, a decent bit for parking with seating outside. Where we were able to sit and have sandwiches and a drink allowing the dogs to get out and stretch their legs as well.
Comfort break on way to Blackpool, had lovely breakfast at The Good Breakfast, good value, the tomatoes were really tasty. Would definitely visit again
A good selection of well known High Street food outlets. Clean facilities. Decent parking. Worth stopping if looking for a rest stop.
Well equipped motorway services with all the usual amenities. This one has been refurbished in the recent past so it doesn't look like a run down dystopian nightmare unlike some of those further south on the M6 or Lancaster Services.
Constantly rammed though as it's right on the road between Liverpool, Manchester and all points north west.
Very busy service station. Long queue for ladies toilet. Crowded car park. Usual fair with fast food outlets. Subway tables not cleaned between customers and waste bin overflowing. Obviously pricey being on the M6. Twice the price of usual Subway.
Lovely staff
Cheap rooms but well facilitated
Food in restaurant good quality, price & taste. Served fresh
Bar area is pleasant & drinks nice
Disgracefully expensive to overnight stop, £29, is ridiculous when being encouraged to break ones journey. Clean facilities.
Thank you for your reply. Fully understand. Needles to say still find overnight stay in our touring caravan expensive.
Pleased to note dedicated touring caravan parking bays. Appreciated. Difficult to police, but very frustrating having cars pull alongside/adjacent, stay for an hour and off. Even more frustrating cars blocking in caravans looking to stop. Forcing caravans to park in the lorry areas. Which is incredibly frustrating for them too. Selfish car drivers causing mayhem. Please Would it be possible for your staff to at least put signs on car windscreens? Better still a £60 charge for contravention of both caravan and disable dedicated parking bays.
It's a motorway service station. Good for a leg stretch and toilet break. Fuel as you would expect is a lot more expencive than off motorway. Good food and drink outlets
the staff in Starbucks were so polite and and really attentive and helpful and gave me options with my coffee. so refreshing to see lovely 😍 smiling faces. Thank you so much to Andy, Poppy, Alex and Sara.
thank you for making me feel special.
will be coming back again very soon. as I pass through regularly .
Thank you Team StarBuck
The services were mobbed with festival goers returning from Creamfields... Perhaps should've been called muddy fields. It was quicker to get a snack from Waitrose. Staff in the services were friendly and helpful.
We had been on holiday that week .Northumberland .called at charnock services on way home .had nice toilet break . And had a nice cup of coffee .the place was clean . And quite . Thanks to the staff .
Quick pit stop on our travels. Parking was ample. Various shops. Area was clean an tidy including toilets
All fine on visit. Facilities all clean and tidy. Outside in car park could do with a bit of tlc re rubbish and general Outlook re foliage etc...
Feel the signage for the toilets from the North bound side is inadequate. Having said that, it is kept clean and from that point, pleasant to visit.
