Great friendly welcome and great food. Really relaxed atmosphere which is just what you want when out with family. Very accommodating with fussy children and great at finding a solution for them. Great to have activities for children as well

Made the (very) small detour off the A303 on our way back to London, and it was absolutely worth it. Delicious home cooked veggie chilli and burger (the relish was the perfect accompaniment). Friendly and caring service. We’ll be calling in again!

A traditional village pub offering well kept real ales, delicious wine and a menu full of pub favourites. We were made very welcome by Kelly and the food was great, especially the homemade treacle tart! Looking forward to another visit very soon.

Lovely pub, super staff. Went in on a long journey home from Cornwall. They were very accommodating and I had the best veggie burger I had had in years! We will definitely be going back in the summer on our next trip down to the SW!

Warm and friendly reception. Quirky interior, which you might love or hate! Not great for ale but usually a good selection of ciders. For a chilly evening arrive early to grab the comfy sofas by the fire!
